This is the best mattress pad for the price. Once you wash it, it becomes thick and fluffy. I started with one and now every bed in my house has one. It also made a huge difference in our motor home. I already have a 3 inch gel/foam topper on my hard-as-rocks mattress. But it has been a while since we got it, and my back has started hurting again. So much to the point I would rather sleep in the recliner some nights. We started looking at mattresses and really weren't prepared to spend that kind of money for a good mattress. I just happened to find this gem and gave it a go. Right out of the box, I could tell this was made well. The cover is very soft, and the padding is nice and thick. The pockets are super deep so you won't have to worry if it'll fit your mattress, I can guarantee it will. I easily got this on my queen sized mattress in minutes, threw the sheets on it and jumped right in. It was like I really replaced my crappy bed. I've been sleeping on this for about 2 months now and I still love it just as much as I did on day one. This is a great quality mattress topper. If you're about to throw your mattress away, try this first. It might save you some money.

It came in a tiny Airtight package, and when I opened it, it started to expand rapidly. I opened it to the full size and let it sit for five minutes before putting it in the washing machine, and then dryer. It washed and dried well. I then put it on my bed and let it Air out for a couple of hours before attaching it to the mattress, and putting my new soft sheets on. My bed feels amazing right now. It’s not super thick, it just gives your bed a nice cushion. If you’re looking for a huge difference in your bed, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for that little bit of extra fluff, this is perfect. Update: it’s been two days since I’ve been sleeping on this mattress topper and I feel like it’s actually gotten fluffier. My bed is so ridiculously comfortable.

I was hoping for a little better quality for this mattress topper but as the old adage goes " you get what you pay for." I seriously recommend following the instructions by washing and drying prior to using. It came out nice & fluffy, fit my 12" mattress just fine and when I lay down on it, it was nice and soft. Unfortunately, after one full night of sleeping on this, it went flat. I put it back in the dryer to fluff it up again and it helped, but I cannot and will not go through this routine on a daily basis. The first night it felt really comfortable, but from then on, it is just ho hum. Depending on your budget, this may not be the worst topper, but if you can afford it, I would say UPGRADE to something else.
