Sleeping through the night for the first time in years

My husband likes a firmer mattress than me so we usually compromise and get Medium/Firm but sometimes they are still too firm and my hips hurt when I sleep on my side and lower back hurts when I sleep on my back. I have had several of these types of things over the years and they are usually “fine.” We are in a VRBO currently with a very firm mattress so I ordered one for our time here, and let me tell you, it’s is best I have ever used. It truly feels like your body is suspended on a cloud. I have slept better than I have slept in years because it is so darned comfortable. If I wake up for some reason (ie, dog makes noise), my first thought is how comfortable I am. ha. If you have issues like mine, I would tell you this topper is the ticket. It does not make me hot at all, and I do struggle with that at night sometimes. It also stays in place with just two straps on my side of the bed. Of course the only downside is that my side of the bed looks higher when the bed is made, which is weird, but we are the only ones seeing it. ... show more

I took way too long to make the decision to buy this mattress topper. I over researched, read all the reviews, then FINALLY decided to try it. It was a great buy!!! After opening the package I let the topper air out over night. Next, I took out on my patio and let it sit in the sun for hours to fluff up. (Even though it puffed up nicely after the first night, I wanted to be extra sure it was comfy). Also, it had no chemical scent at all. The first night I slept on the topper, my firm mattress felt better. I still wasn’t sure how it would hold up, and if it would make a big enough difference, so I waited to write this review. The topper has held its shape well, and any compression that happened seemed to make my mattress feel even more comfortable. This topper did make a difference in the way my body feels on my firm mattress. It relieves pressure points and makes the mattress feel softer. I do not use the straps to hold it steady. Instead I have a separate fitted sheet on top of the mattress topper and I have not had a problem with it moving. Oh, and when I first unpacked it, before I could even get it to my patio, my cat immediately jumped on it and took a long nap. Later, when it was on the bed, she positioned herself in the middle of the bed and napped again. She loves it, and chooses to sleep on it instead of on her very cushy bed!!!! Comfortable, true to size, great quality and as thick as advertised and holds it's shape. Alleviated back pain :-D *Images are after 6 weeks of sleeping on it! Only negative is that it sleeps pretty warm, which we've never had issues with in the past. *That is why we give it 4 of 5 stars. We have a memory foam mattress and had pretty consistent pain in our lower SI and QL pain (we are side and stomach sleepers) This definitely helps alleviate the issue we were having although it hasn't completely resolve it, for that we have to buy a different mattress because we currently have a 'firm' and we need a medium. *Edited, We've been using the topper for about 6-7 now and it's still working, comfortable and held its shape. Definitely recommend unless you are a person who sleeps hot, if you are this would may generate more heat. ... show more

Best mattress topper for fibromyalgia sufferers!

As someone who has fibromyalgia, this mattress topper has been a miracle for sleep! I have felt like my memory foam mattress was a giant brick for months on end and had started sleeping on the couch because it was softer, so to try to sleep in bed with my husband (who did suggest I look for a topper) I went on a quest for a soft mattress topper. This particular mattress topper is very soft and plush and has stayed that way for over a month now. Helpful tip: every week grab the material inside each square and fluff, by doing that I haven't noticed any significant loss in fluffiness. The topper does squish significantly underneath your main body, but will push fluff to the sides so it feels like your head, arms, and legs are laying on a 3 inch high fluffy cloud. I had been struggling with sleeping through the night because I was constantly waking up to shift due to soreness. Starting with the first night of sleeping on this topper, I have slept through the night consistently without waking up. When waking up in the morning I don't feel extremely sore anymore just fibro related stiffness. I would recommend using a deep pocket fitted sheet as it is very fluffy. I have a twin size topper on my side of a queen size bed and it hangs off the side about 3 inches, but my husband is happy as there's no softness on his side as he requested. Warning: once your cat discovers this topper, they won't want to get off it as I found out LOL. My cat slept on it for 18 hours straight so I tried to sleep on the couch and was so uncomfortable after I had been sleeping on this topper that I had to make the cat share the bed with me so I could sleep. I highly recommend this topper! I did not receive anything for this review. I will definitely buy another whenever this one wears out. I just wanted to provide helpful information for others who also suffer from fibromyalgia as it can be hard to find products that help with that specifically. ... show more

Great Comfort Upgrade Without Buying a New Mattress

I bought this mattress topper because my mattress was starting to feel a little firm and uncomfortable, and I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars replacing it. After using this topper for several days, I can honestly say it completely changed the comfort of my bed. The first thing I noticed was the softness and overall comfort. The topper adds a very pleasant layer of cushioning that makes the mattress feel much more comfortable without making it overly soft. It creates a balanced feel where your body gently sinks in just enough while still maintaining support. For side sleepers like me, this has been extremely helpful for relieving pressure on my shoulders and hips. The quality of the materials feels surprisingly good for the price. The stitching is neat, the fabric feels durable, and the padding is evenly distributed across the entire topper. Once placed on the bed, it stays flat and smooth and doesn’t bunch up or shift around during the night. I also want to mention the thickness. Some people may expect something extremely thick like a memory foam pad, but in my experience the thickness is exactly right for comfort while still keeping the bed supportive. It adds noticeable cushioning without making the mattress feel unstable. Another big improvement is sleep quality. Since adding this topper, I fall asleep faster and wake up less during the night. I used to wake up with mild lower back discomfort, but the extra padding seems to distribute my weight better and helps reduce pressure points. Overall, this topper offers excellent value for money. Soft pillowy feel

This is the second one of these I have bought in the last year. This topper is extremely comfortable and has a very soft pillowy/cloud like feel. The price point is perfect for someone on a bit of a budget. I normally get very hot when I sleep and I have no issues with this topper. It has just corner straps to secure it to the mattress which I prefer over the fitted sheet style sides as it doesn’t pull the edges of the topper down. Packing: it came vacuum packed in plastic, then wrapped, sealed and taped in another layer of packing inside the box. Keeping it safe from cuts & dust. There is no smell. I did allow it to expand a full night before putting it on my bed and shook it prior to putting it on the bed to fluff it a little. My first topper (exact brand) I put in the dryer on a low heat to tumble and it fluffed nicely then too. My only complaint is based around cleaning it. The first topper I bought ended up getting puked on by my sick child. It was not a spot/surface clean type situation. I had to take it to a laundromat to clean and their washing machine did not treat it well. The filling got very clumpy and there were several holes torn in the outer layer causing there to be filler fluff all over the place. The clumping of the filling was not evening out and felt uncomfortable to sleep on. I ended up getting rid of the topper after that and searching for a different brand that had waterproof/resistant and machine washable as noted features. The topper I went with was so uncomfortable, was just as lumpy as my ruined/washed clumpy topper that I went through the hassle of repacking it and sent it back. Ultimately I came back to this brand because of the comfort & price and decided it was worth the risk of it not being the most durable when it comes to cleaning. ... show more
