Works great for us. The bed it is on is VERY firm, like 5/5 firmness and was just very uncomfortable to sleep on. This pad makes it much more comfortable and is the right thickness (2 inches). I think anything less than this would be too thin for such a firm bed, and anything more would take away from the support the bed provides. 2 inches is perfect and makes this bed very comfortable now. The price is fair but now I wish I had purchased one with a cover. The one I wanted was sold out but I just put a sheet over it instead. I deducted one star because it's short by 2.5 inches.
