I replaced my mattress to foam n its hard as a rock even tho it was rated medium firmness. This topper did make the bed a bit better. The only downside is u can't throw it in the washer to clean it. What I did was laid it out flat to puff up, sprayed it w sanitizer n threw it in the dryer. We ordered a Vibe mattress in a box and while the support was great, my husband HATED that it had no softness to it. I will admit I missed the softness of our old hybrid mattress, too. I ordered a couple of other pillowtop toppers on amazon and I couldn't believe how flat they were. It was as if we were sleeping on top of a comforter! My son has been complaining for the last year about the comfort of his bed. I tried other bed pads with little to no results. This mattress pad adds a large impact on softness to an otherwise firm mattress. He know says he doesn’t need a new mattress. Very pleased! Would buy it again.

Ordered this hoping from some back relief . I have Degenerative Bone & Disc Disease so I wanted to try this option before purchasing a new memory foam mattress. First night the support was amazing. It is about 3 inches thick after fluffing in the dryer. Second night i woke up stiff and sore again. Yes It cut my lower back & hip pain by 50%. Each person is different so It does help. As soon as I opened it it started to fluff up. I wanted to put the extra time in to fluff it up as much as possible so I shook it out really well then I went through each square and pulled at the fibers. I then put it in the dryer on medium heat for 30 min and half way through took it out fluffed and put it back in it fluffed up beautifully except on the edges. I put it on my bad which is pretty thick because I also have a tempurpedic topper. The elastics should be longer. They barely go over the corners and could easily slip off so that was one disappointment. I fluffed the edges more which helped. It’s very soft and as thick as pictured after you put the time in. I used it that night and was extremely uncomfortable and hot. I woke up frequently and could feel the seems and was hot dogged and sunk to the mattress. I tried it that next day with a mattress cover over it to see if it would help but it didn’t. I’m really disappointed. I was really excited to get this topper but I don’t think it’s for me. I may have to return it. I’m stumped on how many stars to give because it’s not the fault of the seller and it may work for some but I personally don’t think it’s worth the money when you can feel the seams and it doesn’t lift you away from the mattress ... show more

So I bought one of these...and then bought a second one to add to it...they both fit under the deep pocket fitted sheet. I finally look forward to going to bed! I've had this topper for about 2 months now and I'm overall pretty happy with it. We purchased a new mattress a few months ago and unfortunately it was a bit more firm than expected. This topper has definitely made a difference in comfort. It needs to be fluffed about once a week and I suggest putting a protective cover over top because this thing would be pretty impossible to wash without really messing it up. I can't see it lasting more than a year or so, I've already noticed it hasn't been getting as "fluffly" after fluffing as it was when I first purchased it. But for the price, I think lasting a year is fair. Long story short: it seems to be pretty decent quality and it has certainly improve comfort and sleep quality. ... show more
