I work outside and have to keep my cards on a lanyard, so my holders take some abuse. I've gone through all sorts and this is the holder that I've liked the most. There are two ways to hold cards with this holder, but I prefer to keep my two cards in the top load fully enclosed slot to keep my cards safe and clean. This one is thicker plastic, and the slot appears that it won't break like the others because of the position being lower on the ID. Love this, so glad I purchased these. They’re hard plastic. They don’t stretch. They’re not supposed to. They hold up really well. I had my other one for about a year before I had to replace it. It went through the washer a couple times, at least.
