It didnt look like much when it arrived, I tried a few colors (with a eyeshadow base) and forgot about it, took a nap. I looked in the mirror and it had the most beautiful glow. I used the colors 01 Pure White, 08 Foggy Purple, 11 Quiet Gray. I cant believe how well it stayed on and created a "baked" look. Still going strong over 12 hours. Note: I have light/medium Caucasian skin color. With that said, I will have to use makeup remover to remove eventually, but still looking good many hours later. Being older, I like the matte finish. Some of the sparkly & inexpensive eye palettes settle into lines, the shimmer can make a mess and end up creating a glam raccoon look. I love this palette, very happy!

This palette really surprised me. I am always looking for true cool toned eyeshadows. For the price of this palette I had to take a chance. Wow! I am really liking the colors. I’m sure I won’t use all of them but that’s common with palettes. I swatched the colors on the inside of my lower arm. The first pic is the top row (starts out with pure white) and the second pic is the bottom row. (The one with black at the end) I put eyeshadow primer on my arm first then did a light dusting of finished powder. I applied the shades with an eyeshadow brush and went back in right away on a few lighter ones with my finger (just to get an intense payoff) I want to keep the pics for my reference when using it for my eyeshadow looks in case I can’t remember exactly how they ended up looking (which these days is almost daily lol) After the second swatched row I did a quick spray of setting spray and when it dried I waited about 30 minutes. Then I rubbed the colors (on my arm) back and forth, about 10 times , pretty roughly just to see if they faded - that is the 3rd pic. For ref. I’m 64 and have fair/light skin with cool slightly neutral undertones.

The shadow powder has an interesting texture. Very much like chalk. I'm not sure it has a natural look to it on the eyelid. Its blendability is lacking. However it does cover well once its on, it stays on. The description of each shadow color is somewhat inaccurate. For example- 08 Foggy purple is definitely not purple in any way.

The pictures dont do this makeup palette justice. With eyeshadow primer these colors pop and stay all day. I love all the different looks I can create and how beautiful this looks in the sunlight.

I’m in my 70s, and shimmery shadows are no longer flattering. This matte pallet of muted greens and violets is beautiful. I look good in grays, and this pallet is compatible with that and therefore works great against my skin tone and eye colors (yes plural — a green eye and a brown one)
