The "floor" of the individual cubes is made of fabric on top of hollow steel beams, so it's not exactly sturdy or flat by any means. But this is a very nice shelf for light nicknacks that don't need to be on a flat surface. I'd suggest putting any heavier objects (like books) on the bottom cubes to help it keep from tipping over. It was super easy to put together. I had to use the included wooden mallet to hammer some things in place which was quite noisy, but not difficult. I couldn’t find where to request extra parts- although instructions suggest contacting them in the event of missing parts, there is no contact info. I followed the suggestions I read in the reviews , it’s a process to put it together, take your time. There is a warning not to grab the end of the aluminium tubes, which is wise to listen to. I didn’t really need the wooden mallet, which was an awkward size, I just pushed the two sides together and/or turn the tubes to secure. I was frustrated to not be able to finish this so I recommend counting parts before assembling to ensure you don’t have this challenge. It’s as described, not a sturdy all metal or all wood shelf, but it should be perfect to organize a closet. Edit: I ordered an extra set because mine was missing pieces and made it larger. I even trimmed the shelf fabric piece and used the shorter poles to make a 10” wide row of cubbies, to fit my space. You can only do this if you have an extra set or trim the long poles. I used the mounting hardware to secure it, as it has 30 cubes. **be careful not to handle the poles with any pressure as you will bend them. I accidentally pushed on them twice and bent two of the vertical poles. Overall, great storage option for me. I purchased 15” wide bins and thought it would be a perfect fit. The size is NOT 15.75” as that’s the width of one cube, a 15” wide storage bin will barely fit, but it squeezes in nicely! ... show more

We got these to store our clothes in. When we got the box I thought this was not going to be what we needed. However, after putting it together these are super sturdy and can handle a good bit of weight. I have not put it to the test as far as weight goes but they are far more sturdy than I thought they would be. They are a funny dimension for finding boxes to go in them but I wasn't worried about that so they work for us. Assembly was easy and pretty quick. If you are looking for something that is a nice solid wood case this is not it. But if you are not concerned about how nice it looks these are great. ... show more

Pros: Lightweight, simple to assemble, customizable, study enough to hold books. Cons: pieces are not precise, so assembly can be tricky; wobbles strongly from side to side - make sure you anchor it to the wall. Summary: I would return it, but it was so much work to assemble and it's cheap enough that I'm willing to keep it until I can get something better.     • Disappointing and Fails to Meet Expectations

The media could not be loaded. As a responsible consumer, I always make sure to thoroughly research before making a purchase. Unfortunately, my latest acquisition was a disappointing experience that leads me to question the integrity of the information provided by the seller. The product in question, advertised with the ability to support 30 lbs, is far from what is presented in the photos and description. After receiving and assembling it, I realized that the claims about its strength were completely false. The support beams turned out to be noticeably thin and fragile, and as a woman, I found it surprisingly easy to deform them with simple handling. This experience has been so disappointing that I believe the product deserves a rating of 0 stars, and I even suggest the addition of a negative rating option, as the quality level does not meet minimum expectations. I regret having to express this criticism, but I believe it is crucial for both consumers and the seller. I would encourage the seller to conduct thorough testing of their products before putting them up for sale, as what is presented in the description and images does not reflect the reality of the received item. I know at this price I shouldn’t have expected much, but this is flimsy. If I even sneeze in that direction, some of the metal tubing disconnects and it’s a whole production to get it back in because as soon as you get it in one hole, one of the other levels comes out, and you have to reconnect that, and somehow keep it all together. Forget moving it to vacuum because you’ll have to put the whole thing back together again. The poles for the shelves bend easily so don’t use too much strength putting it together or moving it. I’m only keeping it as a divider for my kids room to add a little bit of privacy, but once they have separate bedrooms in our new house, these will be going to a forgotten guest bedroom closet. ... show more
