When I say they are BRIGHT , i literally mean extremely bright. My room was dull and like that yellow kinda light but with these I can see !! I barely turn the lights on that’s how bright they are. Definitely worth the money!

I was kind of confused as to what to expect from a daylight bulb. I needed a little extra light in the bathroom as soft white was not lighting it up well enough. I debated whether I needed to go from the equivalent of 60W bulbs to 75W or if a 60W daylight bulb would do the job. It did not exactly. It does not light up any more area it just lights it differently. The shadows now seem to be more lit than they were before with a soft white bulb. When I am looking at something I feel like it’s more focused and clearer. In the areas of my house that are not regularly used I installed these and all I can really say is they don’t feel so dreary when I turn the light on and enter now. I don’t know exactly how to say to say it for those like myself that have never experienced a daylight bulb. They don’t really light any more than their equivalent in other light types. It’s just a different kind of light. That don’t really explain it because it does light things better within it’s scope. Reading something for example where you may have strained under a soft white light will be easier under this type of light. Something at the edge of it’s reach that was in shadows will still be at it’s edge but slightly more lit than shadow. If you need an extra foot or two the same wattage in a daylight bulb is not going to do it you still need a higher wattage bulb to get light to it. It’s a good light for somewhere that you want to be more alert/focused not so much for someplace that you would to relax. ... show more
