    • Decent chair for the price
I am a massage therapy student and purchased this to take to promotional school events. The chair is light-weight, sturdy and comfortable, well padded. The only issues I have are: 1. The face cradle only has one adjustment lever. 2. The seat height is a little awkward to adjust, I'm used to the ones with a little button on the back that has 8 height adjustment levels. This has a bar that you put into one of 3 hooks, so is a lot more limiting for client height variation. I don't think it would be good for really small/tall people. 3. The case ripped on the seam by the handle you pull, the very first time I used it. For the price it is a good chair, more comfortable than the ones at school that cost twice the price. This chair is sturdy and comfortable.My last massage chair lasted 20 years but finally the velcro came unstuck and I had to get rid of it. I really like that this chair can handle all sizes and weights of people so you don't have to be afraid that someone is too heavy and might get hurt if the chair collapsed. How dare this company sell me this piece of junk. It was broken (at the arm rest) out of the box, and the face cradle was jammed down, and the cushion itself is practically empty of any foam or support. I had been borrowing a friend's Master Massage Apollo chair for the last 2 years, and decided it was finally time to buy my own, and went with the same one she supposedly bought. This is not the case here. This product is inferior to what she has. Right down to the bones. I am disgusted, and this company should be ashamed of themselves. Thankfully I went through Amazon so the return process is fairly simplified, aside from having to print a label and drop it to a UPS location. I called Master Massage via their website's phone number to investigate why I'd have gotten such a terrible and broken item. Their response was that they received several complaints about the face cushion being deflated and they have since fixed the issue, but their lackluster concern over whether or not I'd get a damaged item leaves me with a bad taste. Like I said, I really loved this chair when I borrowed it from a friend, but if the company from the website, and not Amazon, can't even guarantee what I'm going to get when I pull the trigger to order, I'll leave this one alone. Seems pretty sturdy compared to other massage chairs I've used. Nice wide seat for clients to sit on. I don't use it all the time but the case it comes with makes it easy to store or roll out when needed. The price is definitely good for what you get.
