I'm really happy with this choice. The tank is cylindrical so liquids move to the bottom as it drains. The drain plug is standard garden hose thread, so I was able to fit it with a valve and tube to empty it without getting chemical all over my hands. The built in handles are great if you need to move it (empty). The pump is key, and this one is upper level. Lid has large opening so you can get your hand in there to rinse all angles with a hose. I added the boom kit which adds recirculate tube into tank which is KEY if you want your tank to be able to mix stuff up. I use it both with boom and the spray wand, works very well. I run it down to 5 of the 15 gallons and then add 10 more each refill when doing acreage, that way I don't run it dry. It will prime from dry but I don't abuse my pumps. I rinse all after each use and don't let chemical sit in the lines or pump. The volume marks on BOTH ends are also key so when you are on unlevel ground you can estimate true tank filling by comparing the levels on each end to each other and averaging. I thought I'd save a few bucks getting a "used" one from Amazon Resale. I have had pretty good luck buying product returns before. Not this time. The hose was split and someone had taped it, the wand was broken and the connector was missing. Basically, Amazon sold me a box of junk. It's going back of course, only to be sold to someone else probably. From the look of the box, this sprayer has been shipped around a lot... However, the sprayer is actually quite nice. The motor is larger than most (more PSI and more GPM) and is attached to the top of the tank vs the side. The tank is the same as others I've bought. So I bought a new one sold by the actual manufacturer. I need to be spraying but Amazon put a kink in that. ... show more

I purchased this to spray weeks in multiple flowerbeds. I think it works great and it is exactly as stated. The pump is quiet and allows you to sit on the tractor and spray without even getting off in my instances. I have a 25hp diesel tractor and connected directly to the battery using the clamps and it works like a champ. I should say though that the pump does not run full time and when it is running there is a pulsing that takes place but it is not a problem. IF I were to purchase again there is a model that i seen at Tractor supply that has a separate tank just for the weedkiller or whatever you want to put into it as the active ingredient. Then it will automatically blend the 2 together. I really like this because it can be metered better rather than just dumping in the large container. I've only used this sprayer once, so i can not attest to its longevity. However, with the one use I was very happy with its performance. The pump seems to be sufficiently powerful as it put out a good stream at some distance. The hose is adequate in length and the gun/sprayer worked well. I had no issue with the spray adjustment that some others mentioned. I used this on large areas (RV road) from a seated position on SXS. I do recommend this sprayer. Update: Now that I have used it more than once, or tried to use it more than once, let me update the review. This sprayer is crap. If you take a moment to research other reviews for sprayers of this brand, you'll find that a common complaint is that the spray nozzle detaches from the hose. You can't get it tight enough to stay on as it seems that the male threaded attachment is far too small for the housing on the end of the hose. Not only annoying, but dangerous as when the spray attachment goes flying off, what ever product you're spraying, say like poison, just starts shooting out the end of the hose. In my case, I was drenched in weed poison. Amazon should stop selling this hazardous product. Not at all recommended ... show more

This is a great tank sprayer. Has a lot of power and variable nozzle can spray or stream. I installed it on my pull behind grass spreader so I can go around my fence line on my riding mower and spray weed killer.
