A vehicle of some kind is required with 12V available. 15 gallons at 8 pounds per gallon is 120 pounds, plus the weight of the sprayer. An optional mounting kit would be great; I had to strap mine down using semi truck tiedown straps. It is a little disconcerting that the pump constantly surges, turning off and on. If it had a recirculating plumbing setup with a bypass it would maintain constant pressure. The other problem is that in just a matter of months the spray hose is cracking. It might not last the season and when I replace it I may need to replace the wand as well as it appears to be crimped on. Update June '22 - My complaints from last year remain, pump still pulses. When I got it out to use this year I filled the tank part way with water and powered it up to check for leaks. As expected the hose leaked like a soaker hose, the kind that spray. Several feet of it were spraying like that in multiple places. There was a short length within a foot of tge wand that were in a little better shape so I was able to splice it to the new hose. I will see if it last the season. If it fails it will require replacing the wand for sure because the hose is crimped to the wand. I might try grinding the metal ferrel off the wand if the remaining hose fails to see if it has a normal insert nipple end because I do like the wand. ... show more

I used to spray my 3.5 acres (just around driveways and houses) with my Solo backpack sprayer but knee replacement surgery put an end to that. So I bought this product and when I need it I strap it to the top of the normal basket that comes on a golf cart and secure it with 2 heavy bungee straps. I then fill it and mix in glyphosate or whatever else for weed control, and hook it up to a 12 volt motorcycle battery I bought just as a dedicated battery for this sprayer. It works terrific. The extra long hose makes it possible for me to get to hard to reach places while in the golf cart. It is long enough that I can walk up to those harder to reach areas to spray them, then back in the cart to spray while driving around. My knees thanked me. So far everything works perfectly and everything was engineered with lots of thought in mind (long hose, long electrical connectors, built in hand holds in the tank, easy to see measuring guides built into the tank) and it has sprayed a lot of liquid for sure. Well worth the money. *****UPDATE**** I purchased this in 2019 and it continues to faithfully spray herbicide on my 3.5 acres of property. Would absolutely buy it again. ... show more

    • Sprayer quit working after 10 minutes

Bought this sprayer about 3 weeks ago to spray for bag worms on our white pine trees. We have a John Deere Gator which my husband hooked it up to to spray. We've have other sprayers so he know exactly how to connect the wires and etc. It was almost 2 weeks before we tried to use it because it wouldn't quit raining. Like the instructions say he filled it with water no chemicals and the sprayer lasted about 5 minutes. He called Master Manufacturing and talked with a guy who said the motor must have gone bad and they would send us another one, and don't send it back. Well it's been a least a week and he called the company again today and they don't know if anything has our will be shipped. We have until the 19th of June to send this back. We are both disgusted, don't know whether to send the whole thing back or wait. If we wait then we'll be stuck with something that doesn't work and out $133. We need to spray, so guess we'll buy a sprayer that works from a company in our area. The manufacturing company said don't worry we have a years warranty.....which made me laugh from being lied too. I'm calling Amazon to complain since they are allowing this company to sell an item that doesn't work and the company doesn't seem to care. I do not recommend buying this sprayer. ... show more

I checked all the connections and screws and all was nice and tight. There were no leaks at all and when I tested it with water it performed just as expected. My only complaint is that it did not list the wiring harness in the description of what was going to be in the box. I read a review earlier that said it was not supplied with the sprayer so I ordered one . When the sprayer was delivered the wiring harness was in the box so I returned the one I bought. ... show more

I was looking for a smaller tank with a long spraying distance. I found both in this item. I am using it specifically for pesticides and it will spray very high into the trees and ornamental shrubs which is what I wanted. This size is easy to maneuver and place and remove from my four wheeler which is what I needed. So far it is working as advertised and hope to get a lot of use from it. Great sprayer. ... show more
