The Master Lock 178D Set Your Own Combination Padlock features a 2in (51mm) wide solid body for strength and reliability. The 5/16in (8mm) diameter shackle is 1in (25mm) long and made of hardened steel, offering extra resistance to cutting and sawing. The 4-digit dialing allows for thousands of possible numeric combinations. The Limited Lifetime Warranty provides peace of mind from a brand you know and can trust.

I have a few storage sheds and used to have military style pad locks which required a key. I was hesitant about using combo locks because the ones I saw were light weight and apparently not well made. These Master locks are heavy weight and obviusly well constructed. They look good, it is great not to have to fumble with a key, and the quality is outstanding. I've got 6 of these so far (first time double pack, and then came back for more). The brass, on the bottom, where the combo lock is, is really cool and the lock seems indestructible.
