  • Great little locks
Size: 2 Pack
Perfect little travel bag locks. These are a great deterrent, but not much more than that. I use them when I store my clothes in the locker at the gym. I would not use them to lock my house or safe etc., but that's what they're for! No issues with them breaking or otherwise failing after 6 months of regular use. Update I have used these locks for over 2 years and I still love em. They still work perfectly and I still use them at the gym. They are the perfect deterrent and I love that I don't have to spin a stupid wheel lock back and forth 3 times and maybe mess up. This I can unlock in less than 5 seconds. It doesn't get easier. I depend on other consumers for their truthful and detailed experience so I don't have to go into trouble of having a product that is not adequate. So as always, if you found this review helpful, click and vote YES so, that others will know! It makes me happy to know, that I have helped somebody on their decision based on my review. Thank you and have a great day. ... show more

  • I do like these little things.
Size: 2 Pack
For what it is, you can't beat the size-weight ratio. This is a handy convenience lock for stuff you either need to keep on your person or open frequently: backpacks, child locks, or an extra layer of security for packed items. Quality: About the best you can expect for a combo lock with this small a form-factor. (Spoiler: it's sure as hell not indestructible) I once recovered one from the road after 24 hours of it getting run over by heavy motor traffic & it still worked fine for years. Security: Most dial-combo locks of this sort can be easily cracked without noticeable tampering in minutes or less. Which is great if you forget the combination, but don't use these to secure anything unattended for significant lengths of time. It might deter pickpockets, children, & keep critters out of your camping pack, but that's about it. Plus, the shell has a fully exposed non-welded seam. You might want to seal that. Travel: Good for carry-ons. Not advised for checked luggage. If the TSA cuts the lock off the $5-9 retail price-point isn't even worth the damage claim. (consider that a Plus or a Minus) Note: The outer shell varies. It's either question-mark Chinese cast zinc or brass. (You'll find most manufacturer/retail descriptors are vague on the subject) ... show more

  • VISUALLY IT'S LOCKED WITH $4.00 OF STRENGTH
Size: 2 Pack
These locks are EXACTLY worth $4.00 of security. If you need more protection than keeping a nosey person peeking into your bag, or prevent a suitcase from popping open if dropped while handling. spend a few bucks more for a lock with integrity and strength. These are perfect for preventing peering eyes Think of these locks as "stage prop" quality. Someone sees the lock[s] on your bag and MIGHT pass on to an unlocked one. To keep a weapon in a fabric storage pouch with one of these locking the zipper from being opened by a child, or a youth lacking adult strength, they are fine. ... show more

  • Small Enough for a Plastic File Box (approximately 6 mm hole)
Size: 2 Pack
I am happy to find that these locks are small enough for the hole of my file box but not so small that they would be easy to break (Figure 1). These locks also fit on my suitcase zippers (Figure 2). The instructions to set a combination are easy to follow. When I share a bedroom with roommates in the months ahead, these locks should discourage anyone from getting nosy "just out of curiosity." While one lock was on my file box, I tugged at the lock just to be sure it was working properly and not readily giving in. The lock was received in perfect condition and does its job. I am protective of my privacy and my most personal belongings. These locks reassure me that my belongings are safe from any would-be snooping eyes. ... show more

  • Good Option But Prefer The Cable Locks
Size: 2 Pack
If you're in need of locking up something small, these will do the job. They're reasonably priced and will do the job. However, there a better options. Because of their size, the rigid hook can make navigating in tight places a little challenging. Setting up and changing the passcode is easy but you may have to read the instructions more than once to make sure you're doing it right. While I haven't tried this, they feel like they could be easily crushed and compromised with a standard pair of pliers. They'll do in a pinch, but you're better off spending a few extra bucks and getting a TSA-approved cable-style lock. ... show more

  • Great locks for the gym!
Size: 2 Pack
These combination locks were super affordable and came with two locks, which I was very happy about! I started going back to the gym recently but I was out of a lock, and I was afraid I would have to purchase one of those master locks with a large dial on it (which I have a hard time opening sometimes) or the ones with a key, and I'd lose the key somewhere at the gym. These locks are super compact and you can set your own combination. Although these are less secure because of how small they are, and there are only 3* 0-9 digit combinations that you can set it as, I highly doubt anyone at the gym would sit there and try all the combinations. Anyway, I'm really glad that comes with two so I can give one to my co worker who also goes to the gym with me. It was also very easy to set up the combination the first time. One thing I do not like is that it is difficult to turn the dial sometimes. ... show more

  • Two Locks, Accurately Described
Size: 2 Pack
These locks are exactly as described in the listing and I am pleased with them. I had no difficulty setting the custom lock combinations I desired and they are useful for the exact purpose I needed them. Note: these are not "high security" by any means -- it wouldn't take much from bolt cutters or even a hefty pair of pliers to breech them. The are more for anti-fiddling-around proofing. But the thin shaft of the lock fits through the small opening I need them too, and, since I needed exactly two of them, it was great to be able to have a matching set. They do what they are supposed to do ... can't ask for more than that. ... show more

  • Not A Good Locking System
Size: 2 Pack
Locks are preset at 000. Re-Setting combination, for the ones I received, not as simple/easy as you might think or like. Got one set and the second one that came at 000 would not release (unlock) in order to reset. So, you might want to look elsewhere for a small combo lock. Didn't bother contacting seller and go through the "process" of explaining, reordering, taking pictures or whatever. Maybe you'll be luckier :-) ... show more
