Let me start this review with a caveat. You must download an equalizer, as the sound out of the box is good, even great, but not 10/10 as stated in my title. I use the app SoundID, as it's the most comprehensive of the eq apps that I've tried on the app store, and I've tried MANY. It actually does a frequency hearing test that takes a good 5 minutes or more to complete. Once finished, you'll have "your" sound signature applied automatically to every song, which I venture to bet will change your audio listening game. Conversely, just find an eq app you love if you know off the bat what your preference is. Moving on. Once you've set up your eq the way you like, let me not overstate the fact that these sound more natural and revealing than the most expensive true wireless earbuds that exist right now. As a comparison, I have owned the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ and EX, the Sennheiser MTW3, the Sony Wf-1000xm4, the Bose QCII, multiple Jabra Elite models, the Soundcore Liberty 2 and 3 Pro, and the 4. I've even owned the Noble Audio Fokus pro and Status Audio Between Pro true wireless earbuds, which both have triple drivers in each ear. I also own a pair of Westone W80 iems which have 8 balanced armature speakers per earbud, along with a Questyle M15 Dac and Amp and stream through Tidal Masters with full MQA decoding software bypass through USB Audio Player Pro (for the "audiophiles" who doubt my credibility for sound quality review). But when it comes to sound quality and portability, in all honesty, I reach for these before the expensive and tedious aforementioned setup. The first thing I noticed as I put these in my ears was the fact that I actually did not notice them in my ears. What a pleasure. There are many, many pairs of earbuds out there that require heavy fitment and finagling just to seat properly, and these are by far the easiest to put in and most comfortable of them all for me. The second thing I noticed upon playing from a roster of my favorite songs/albums was that I was hearing things in these songs that I never even knew were there, even listening through my iems. Cymbals and hi-hats as well as tiny nuances in the treble frequencies were not only audible for the first time, but they were brought to life, and separated very clearly from the rest of the music. I can actually hear every single instrument with precision. But not only that, these frequencies/notes/instruments were so organic and realistic in timbre, and the Soundstage and imaging so accurate and wide that I felt confident in pointing out their physical location in the songs. I mean, WOW. I thought my Bang & Olufsens were revealing in detail regions, but these are in a league of their own, genuinely. You've heard people say things like this before about other earbuds (including myself, if you look at some of my other past reviews), but with a few caveats (one being DOWNLOADING AN EQ APP TO CLEAN UP THE SOUND IS A MUST TO MAKE THESE EARBUDS COME ALIVE), I am absolutely confident that these can end your search for earbuds if sound quality/comfort/battery life are at the top of your list. Please, don't consider these for their ANC, it's probably best that you leave it off and save 2 additional hours of battery, as I'm fairly confident they only added it so that it's part of the list of features to be able to compete in today's true wireless market. It was definitely an afterthought. But they sound so spectacular that I don't even care one bit. If you've taken the time to read this whole review, thank you. I've taken a lot of time to write it, because I want you, the reader to make an educated and wise decision like I did in buying these. Good luck πŸ‘ ... show more

Okay been listening to lots of genres of music , latin, blues, rock ,dance ,pop etc for the last two days trying to figure out where these shine and where they don't suit me ( since its each persons perspective ) this is what i feel all around sound is great instrumental , to Rap all good ,if I had to point out any thing slightly negative its on some tracks not all the treble can sound a little sharp ( for some reason Harry Styles tracks ) Bass is big and full but not over the top so it doesn't drown out the vocals and sound stage is quit open for ear buds the volume plays plenty high in fact I find myself turning it down depending on the track, also its friendly to podcast music which I find my Bowers & Wilkins PI7 earbuds are not ! SO I'm very satisfied with the ear buds. Now the real negative - the APP is trash I don't know if its my iPhone 14 but I've followed every trouble shooting step I could find ( delete and reload the app , re-pair the ear bud , put them back in the case take them back out etc never got it to work as of yet it just times out even though each time ( so all control comes from the ear bud buttons for me ) it finds the earbuds in its menu ,so for that the three stars for the price everything should work great ,again MW08 sport buds are great well made kevlar case is great its just the APP is useless hopefully M&D will provide a revised update. Hope this helped Oh noise cancellation is just okay better than average not as good as Sony and Bose I Okay revising my review on the APP - M&D support was great they reached out and helped me through a reset process and after concluding the ear buds might be defective ,with out delay sent me a new pair ( so great support ) and all works as it should now 4 stars only because NC could be better but no deal breaker for me ... show more

The sound quality of these have to be heard to be believed! Crisp, clear across the spectrum, bass is good, not over powering. Noise cancelling is outstanding. Fit well without feeling heavy. Only issue is, and this is a problem with the app, the left side will cut out, fuzz around and return and won't do it again. They are not cheap, but well worth every penny! ... show more

These sound great which is the most important thing, I don't consider myself an audiophile but I do know good sound when I hear it. I have a home system which is a 7.1.2 with bowers and wilkins speakers so I do know what i am hearing. Clarity is great and has a nice punchy bass to them, at no point did I hear any distortion or the dreaded muffle sound. They get a solid A for for sound quality. The battery life is pretty good but I don't get 10 hours out of them with noise canceling on, I would say 7 to 8 depending on volume level but that's still more than other buds in this spectrum. I was leaning towards bowers and wilkins pi17 but the battery life was a deal breaker 4hours vs. 8 hours. These have minor connectivity issues mainly when you use the button to silence them, when you turn them back on the left bud crackles for about 3 seconds before regaining clarity. This is not a big deal to me just a bit annoying. I would say you get a good connection for 50 to 75 feet definitely not 100 feet as they advertise but its good enough. The app is pretty much trash, battery level is wrong probably 50% of the time. The app is only useful for switching from anc to ambient mode. Noise canceling is run of the mill, nothing special but it does work. I had to return the first set I received due to a battery issue, buds would not charge simultaneously when placed in the case without being on the charger, would only charge 1 bud at a time. when sitting on my charger both buds would charge normally. For the life of me can not figure out what was going on with that but amazon did what amazon does and made it right 2 days later with a new set and have had no issues with this set. comfort level is outstanding, at no point have they felt like they were going to fall out and I use them for 8 to 10 hours a day at work, A+ for this. If you are looking for a great sounding set of buds with good battery life and a great fit then look no further you wont be disappointed. I would buy these again ... show more
