Assembly was a breeze for me a mechanic of sorts. (15 minutes). Seems well built all though I would agree with some other reviews, the forks seem a bit cheap. Starts right up runs good except for the throttle is way too hard for a 9 or 10 year old to turn, the throttle grip doesn’t stick to the actual throttle handle and consequently just spins without turning the throttle.. The throttle when it does somewhat work sticks sometimes (not safe if it sticks while 10 year old is riding it) This was a recent purchase as a Christmas gift that can’t be enjoyed. In fairness I sent a message to the seller and will see what they can do to fix it. Unfortunately my first impression after the first couple rides for the kids is not a favorable one. And I’m more inclined to send it back and get a different mini bike. After waiting for over an hour twice on the phone I spoke to an ignorant agent who cursed at me. The woman after was pleasant and apologizing, in any event I only want to return this mini bike now and will not by another Massimo product.

This minibike is supposed to be red it's not it's more a red orange mix which I personally don't like also the hardware is not bagged instead thrown in the box mine showed up missing front steering bolt luckily I had one also the grips are hard as a rock literally and the throttle pull is very stiff but it runs good massimo please bag the hardware

Was double boxed, thankful was, axle nut, washers loose in bottom box, some scuffs cardboard box sides I guess, settings are for kids' slow takeoff. Turn up for bigger kids, easy fix. Rear axle bolt was too tight, one turn of nut spin freer. Overall ok to assemble, (tools provided). Kid road around yard 1/2-day didn't use much fuel. Air filter too thick engine needs more air, draws crankcase fumes might be off setting the carb richness. needs a lawn mower type, or cone type. Happy for them to have it, thanks.

This bike is honestly one of the worst made bikes I’ve seen or have ridden on. The welding on it is horrendous and who ever did it needs to be fired since the day I got it my breaks never really worked the engine ran weird I wanted a refund but all I got was a 50$ gift card or so

I disliked the fact that package was pretty banged up for being a $500 item. Make sure if its children that ride it, they wear a helmet because crashing at top speed will put a hurt on you, I learned this the hard way.. I'd like to see different colors available. Very slow start off but she gets moving pretty good. Not good for hills, she can't pull herself up them.

Very easy to assemble. My 9 year old fits perfectly however haven't started it yet due to a missing rear oil fill plug. Also rear reflector was broken. He has a Chinese 110 4 wheeler and my wife has a 150cc dune buggy, Chinese. Compared to those this is a great value... American Owned Company out of Texas. After further inspection there is no oil cap needed on the rear, it's a non-threaded blocked off hole.

Chain keeps falling off and the throttle is very hard to use. Very disappointed in this product. I have had to try to remedy this problem several times to no avail. Seems like this could be a simple repair but the chain keeps falling off and the throttle makes it so it can not be ridden or controlled. So it’s a total waste of my money. Do not buy this model.
