    • The headrest collapses
I really hate to give this massage table a 1 star, because the table itself is great! It's very sturdy, has extra thick padding, the navy blue covering looks nice, and I like the extra width of the table. However, a table is only as good as its headrest. The headrest will randomly collapse. (It's really difficult to have a nice, relaxing neck massage when you're on high alert that your head will drop when the headrest collapses!) We have this table for personal use and only use it 1-2 times a month, so as the random headrest collapses became so frequent that we knew it was a consistent problem, it was already past the 90 day return window. I messaged the seller through Amazon and requested that the headrest be replaced, and they refused to do anything, citing the 90 day time period. I even often offered to pay for a replacement headrest, and they again refused, saying they don't sell parts. Maybe it's a fluke that we got a defective headrest, but I do see in the other reviews that someone else had the same problem. Again, the massage table is great! I just wish I could say the same for the headrest. ... show more

I was so excited that this massage table finally arrived after many delays. I was crushed when I tried to open the bottom clasp so I could set the table up. The clasp would not open. This the table is useless. The table has to be returned. The table is beautiful and other than the non-working clasp the top part of the table seems to be very well made. The foam is certainly firm and soft at the same time. The rounded corners are a bonus. Table need for PT exercise surface for someone recovering from a spinal reconstruction. Beginning therapeutic exercise at home will have to be delayed for a minimum of 2 weeks while waiting for a new table. Hesitant to ask for a replacement because they obviously do not have quality controls in place. The box the table was shipped in was NOT damaged. The 1st picture is the clasp that will open.
