I was looking for a mascara that didn't smudge or flake right after applying it. I came across this one, but I was apprehensive, because I've tried other Revlon mascaras and hated them. This one is amazing! I have short scant eyelashes and I'm always looking for a mascara that gives great volume and length. I've used many that give those qualities, but tend to smudge and flake. This one was mind blowing! It did everything I wanted AND it didn't irritate my sensitive contact wearing eyes! It was so volumizing and lengthening I've had to use it more lightly instead of putting on lots of coats, which is usual in even high end mascaras. Give it a try. I hope you won't be disappointed. Everything goes on easy however the wand is bigger than I like but will continue till both tubes are empty. I prefer non waterproof mascaras

So, I really like this mascara, as a product itself I'd rate it higher. Its not quite as good as my older version which is the tiny pink/purple tube that came with eyeliner years ago, but still good and Ive bought it a few times. But, the packaging was damaged and taped shut and so there was no way to tell if it was used or not, which is no good for makeup. I was able to get a replacement through amazon support, and the replacement packaging was also damaged, just in a ziplock bag with the cardboard, didn't even have the plastic! I don't really want to deal with support again so I give up. From what I can tell they don't really "look" used, but better safe than sorry with something going near your eyes/face. ... show more

Honestly, this is my favorite mascara! I feel like it does have a learning curve to perfect the application, but it's so worth it! It doesn't clump, flake, make my eyes dry or itch like so many others. I can even cry in the non-waterproof version and it won't smear unless I touch them while they're wet. This mascara is one of my favorites! It doesn't clump my lashes too much and it goes on pretty smooth. It's not too dark if you get the brown color. I recommend it.
