This ¾ inch table tennis top is made in the same factory as Butterfly Table Tennis tables and is designed to fit 8ft pool tables. Rails can be unscrewed and removed to fit some 9ft tables. This table tennis top for pool tables is regulation size, which is 9 ft x 5 ft, making it great for competitive playing for kids or adults. Not only is this great for billiard tables, this ping pong table topper can be used on most sturdy tables, such as a large dining room table. The top comes with a net set and foam protection pads are included to prevent scratches to your billiard table. These pads peel and stick underneath the conversion top to protect your pool table from scratches. Converting your billiard table to play ping pong is easy. Place both halves onto your pool table, slide the net posts in each side, slide on the net, and start playing. Note: I did not purchase from Amazon. But wanted to provide a review of this table. It's a fantastic high end table top with a 19mm (regulation size) table. It arrives in a 140lbs box. Once you open the open,there is a secondary box and the table is solidly sealed w/ a wrap. The shipping was excellent. It's very heavy will need two people to move your destination from curbside. Quality wise, I have owned other brands, but MK is the best of the bunch. There is a connection notch to join the two halfs together, which makes the table very level and stable. The net connector is simply to install and apply net. The best aspect is the 19mm depth which allows for terrific bounce and spin. Overall, super pleased w/ this product. It's pricey but you really can't go wrong w/ Butterfly MK. ... show more

I want to say the table is quite nice, but the only reason I put a four, is because of the misunderstanding of the foam backing on the table. The table is quite easy put together with two people, but the little foam pieces of tape they give you to be put on the inside of the ping pong table, have to be measure out to where it will hit on the pool table. These are little one inch squares that need to be placed on the ping pong table, before putting it down on the Pool table. It did take me several hours to figure how many inches inside from the edge, they should go. My husband nor myself are mathematicians and needless to say, I put them in the wrong place and had to go buy more at Home Depot. Once we put it together it's awesome. ... show more

Very pleased with assembly and play surface. Delivery service left unit exposed on driveway without notifying us on a different date and time than was scheduled. Unit has slight bend in side support that might have been caused by shipping and not noticed on packing. Feedback to shipper has been ignored. No regrets on the table conversion, though. This table is made very well! Looks great! Packaged well. Highly recommend paying the extra twenty dollars to have it delivered inside your house. Delivery includes up and down two flights of stairs. It is a heavy box and worth the extra delivery fee. I had one slight issue with a stripped screw the manufacturer left. Not a big deal. I just put in a larger screw and it’s fine. The pads they give you are small and I recommend putting a thick cover over your pool table. I didn’t even bother using the pads. The table is great and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a topper. ... show more

This ping pong topper had great reviews and I have to agree, it's top notch and well constructed. The packing was sturdy and well shipped. Two men found it heavy to get into the house but once unpacked, my wife and I could carry each piece to the den and set it up on the pool table. I was very disappointed that we could not choose our color and I had no way to asking. Fortunately we could blue which looks good in our room. Added this to the top of our pool table. It is definitely large! Very sturdy. Took myself and my husband to maneuver it. Not necessarily heavy, but bulky so plan on two people to set up. Table has scratched a little in the two days we’ve had this. But maybe that’s the case with all ping pong table surfaces. Also- having two halves (as opposed to fold up ones) is great because there are no seams! ... show more

We wanted a good sturdy ping pong table that was the competitive size. We already have a pool table so adding another big item was going to shrink our space. This fits great over the top and is super sturdy. My husband wanted the thicker one just for that purpose and its perfect.
