I was shocked on how heavy this shelf was but I managed to install it by myself without my husband. I’m not that strong but I sat it on a stool that was the perfect height, placed it against the wall, leveled it and it actually made it very easy to install. I did however have difficulty screwing the screws they provided that go into the stud. Even my husband couldn’t get it back in and striped one of the screws. So I went to Home Depot and got proper screws and that did the trick. The instructions are very good and putting it together is the easy part. Delivered quickly, no missing parts, and easy assembly. I did break a few of their bolts in the studs by over tightening had to use my own. I wish the back brace was little longer as the studs in my apartment complex are 16” I believe. I secured the middle in a stud and the exterior of both sides using dry wall plastic anchors with screws. ... show more

Quick delivery and in exc condition. No missing hardware. Received in separate plastic bag. Only complaint is that a phillips screwdriver is the only tool required but did not work. Tried to use my lightweight power drill with no luck. Handyman assembled and installed with heavy duty drill. After all that I love the shelf but be prepared for a very heavy item. This is the 72” or 70” entertainment center I had got. Our flat screen is 65” which is what we were going for cause I didn’t want a small entertainment center and big Smart Tv. Now, of course, as you see In the photo; I tried my hardest to cover the cords as much as I possibly could have. I suppose that is the only down side but other than that it’s extremely nice, and matches with my living room :D It’s really easy to put together as well :D ... show more

It's a beautiful counter that had more potential. I hate how the inside is black instead of the same wood. However my biggest pet peeve is the location of the hole where the cords go through. Obvious it wasnt planned out right being that it would've been smarter to keep it towards the back so the cords can be more flush and hidden if you use a cord panel of some sort instead of having it look ugly and stick out a bit. Also the hole isn't even that big EITHER.. not very well done. Otherwise just good overall but could've been better. ... show more

I ordered a shelf similar to this from ebay and overstock because I didn't want to spend $200 for one that was as long as I needed most on amazon are too short for my taste. I have a 65in tv and this shelf is perfect.
