Its great! Let it breath for a few days to get rid of the chemical smell that Im sure is on there only so it wont mold while waiting to be purchased but overall very happy. I bought a different one thats similar from walmart and this one by far is bigger and more comfortable. Definitely try this out but you need sheets that are stretchy or deep pocket ones so it can fit both the foam topper and mattress. ... show more

This is a review of “Marsail Queen Size Mattress Topper, 3-inch Egg Crate Memory Foam Mattress Topper, Mattress Topper with Infused Cooling Gel for Sleeper Sofa, RV, Camper, CertiPUR-US Certified”, an egg-crate style mattress pad. If you get one of these, make sure you open it up and let it air out for a day or two before sleeping on it - like most foam/memory foam pads, this pad has an odor after taking it out of the packaging that you’ll probably want to let dissipate before sleeping on it. This isn’t an issue unique to this pad alone, but if you’re never bought one of these before it’s useful to know. I got the 3” queen size - it’s plenty big for a queen bed as you can see in the pictures and after leaving it a day to spread out to its full size, it’s the full advertised thickness. After having it on the bed for a while, I can confirm that this mattress pad sleeps well. You’ll feel that the pad has an egg crate pattern - if you decide you don’t like the feel you can just flip the pad over so you’re sleeping on the flat side. The memory foam itself is quite comfortable. It’s “infused with cooling gel”, which will supposedly help keep you cool as you sleep, but there’s not really enough of the gel there to do anything but give the pad some blue swirls for a bit of visual flair. Compared to just a regular egg crate mattress pad, there’s no real cooling benefit from this gel infusion. I have a cooling gel pillow where you do get a cooling effect, but the gel in there is in a thick layer inside the pillow - unlike how it’s done here. So … recommended as a nice memory foam egg-crate mattress topper, but don’t buy this for the supposed cooling gel infusion. The infusion is pointless on this mattress topper. ... show more

    • Cool, thick, and comfortable, this mattress topper is a dream come true
The minute I unfurled this literal dreamboat, I could tell that it was made of high-quality materials. It was so plush yet still gave me a touch of firmness that I needed not to feel like I was falling through a cloud. The eggshell surface helps air circulate beneath the fitted sheet, keeping this hot sleeper cool throughout the night. I woke up with not one bead of sweat on my brow or an annoying tickle down the small of my back. The mattress topper itself is 3" in height, size full, which I use on a futon and mattress. The size of said futon hovers between full and twin, making it awkward to find something that doesn't stop short of my needs but at the same time doesn't have so much overflow that it facilitates unexpected adventures to the floor in the middle of the night. I didn't want to cut it, so I curled up the overflow and tucked it under. That way, it added a bit of a raised section at the edge of the bed, offering my dog (and me, let's be honest) a barrier to keep either of us from taking that tumble. The first few days were an adjustment for my dog. Walking on the topper was initially challenging, but she quickly adapted. Despite the initial difficulty, she instantly fell in love with it. The soft and cozy material made her feel at home, and the raised edge provided a safe spot to rest her head as she observed the room. This topper has genuinely enhanced her sleep experience. I couldn't be happier with this mattress topper. The price is perfect, the comfort is impeccable, and the most necessary part is that it is dog-approved. I don't know how I've ever lived without it. Pro-tip for a better night's sleep: Add bamboo sheets to your bed for extra breathability and comfort. The coolness they help facilitate works wonders, and bamboo sheets feel smooth and soft. They give insomnia a one-two punch and let the Sandman get to work, so you're beyond well-rested when it's time to wake up for work. ... show more

I bought this mattress topper because my mattress was starting to dip in on each side where my boyfriend and I slept. This was starting to hurt my back so I was looking for a topper to help "buffer" that dip. I'm not a fan of memory foam so I was nervous buying this but figured I'd give it a try. It says to wait 48 hours to fluff back up after taking it out of the package but it was pretty much fully fluffed in an hour. One important thing to note is that there was NO SMELL like a lot of other memory foam has. None at all. Another thing I LOVED is that there was not a long rebound time for the foam after you pressed into it. Meaning when I pressed on it it didn't stay indented for a long time like other memory foam does. This is very important to me because I don't want to roll over and be falling back into the impression where I was sleeping before. For all the aforementioned I do believe that not all memory foam is the same but this version of it I am obsessed with! A big thing I was worried about is heat trapping. This topper does NOT trap heat in. I don't believe it cools but it also doesn't make you hot. The thickness of this pad is perfect but I would not buy it any thicker otherwise your sheets won't fit. My sheets barely fit after putting this on my mattress and I have deep pocket sheets ( although my mattress is kind of thick). The egg crate design helps cradle you comfortably as well. If you are on the fence about this product, get it! You will love it. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this topper. ... show more
