Review for Marsail 3 Inch Egg Crate Memory Foam Mattress Topper, King. I got the king size, as I like to cut the king size in half to make 2 twin XL sized toppers. Normally, I would pair the memory foam mattress topper with an egg-crate foam topper, as I like using both together to create my own pillow top on a regular mattress. However, this memory foam topper is already an egg crate topper as well. I use a mattress cover to hold the foam pieces in place. Using a memory foam topper is an inexpensive way to get the higher-end pillow top mattress feel without the higher end mattress price. This memory foam topper is gel-infused, which means that you don't overheat in the middle of the night like you would with non-gel memory foam toppers. The egg-crate shape lets air pass, which also helps you sleep cooler. While the thickness is 3" (when fully decompressed), approximately half of the thickness is the egg crate part. great mattress topper. very comfy and plush. highly recommend. does have a chemical smell you will need to let it sit out for a bit but it will eventually go away. says its cool. but i feel like my body gets very warm quickly with this mattress topper. otherwise quality and price are great.

If you want to fall asleep instantly and wake up feeling like you’re on another planet this is the mattress topper for you. This is so comfortable I literally wake up in a haze and barely know where I am! I’m having incredibly vivid dreams all night every night and waking up without the aches and pains that have plagued me most of my adult life. I thought this might be too soft and would hurt my back, but it’s definitely not. It’s like sleeping on a marshmallow that has been cooked to the perfect consistency it hugs you in the exact right places to take pressure off your joints and back. I can’t say enough about this. I added this to my hospital bed and it has made an otherwise hard hospital bed mattress so much more comfortable. My mattress is extremely firm and this makes it just soft enough. Definitely won’t sleep without it again.
