I have purchased a mattress every two years, thinking that I needed a firmer mattress for back pain. It turns out I needed a softer mattress instead. I slept on a similar topper during a vacation and slept so much better than at home. I purchased this one based on the positive reviews. I'll list the cons first: It smells strongly. It is Certipure-certified, but I don't really know what that means. If you have sensitive skin or sinus issues, I would probably discourage purchasing this one. I did awaken with a stuffy nose for several days after putting it on my bed. The problem is that you are going to experience a smell with almost any memory foam item, so you might as well get lavender. It sticks around as well, so if you want to air it out, you need to plan for about a week to do so. Second, for men, lavender and its fragrance has been reported to be an endocrine disruptor, increasing estrogen. Men might want to be cautious about this since you spend a third of your day in bed. With that out of the way, I highly recommend this topper; my back and hips feel so much better. It also makes my bed much cozier. It doesn't make my bed markedly hotter, but it is definitely warm. If you are a wiser-age woman who sleeps hot, you might want to skip this one.

I have a new mattress but it's an extra firm, damn near like laying on the ground, my lower back and girlfriends neck were hurting every morning, but since we've purchased this, great! I'm able to sleep through the night, and the memory foam helps dilute some of the movements I'd feel on just the mattress. The straps on the corners don't work well for my bed as it's pretty thick, but it doesn't move more than a couple inches and is pretty easy to move back when needed. 10/10 would buy again so worth a goodnights sleep, if you're still leery, use this a sign telling you to buy it!

I ordered the queen size 3" topper & received it incredibly fast. I opened it & am letting it "breathe" & fluff itself to full size at the moment. The first thing I noticed was the lack of offensive odors that accompany most foam mattresses. This one is actually pleasant. I do smell the slight hint of lavender, which I find quite nice. I am pleased with the quality & thickness & very happy with this purchase, as I got a good deal on it during the Prime Day sale.

This has been a very comfortable upgrade, with no excess hanging over on the queen size bed. Always consider your exhausting sheets, to and make sure they have deep enough pockets to accommodate the mattress plus this topper. But my hips and joins don't hurt nearly as much in the night since we added this. I don't really notice the lavender smell unless we take the sheets off to change them. It's better than the petroleum smell from most foam products. Also it puffed right up when we took it out of the packaging. No waiting for hours. I haven't noticed that I sleep any hotter or colder than I did before. Overall I really like this topper and would recommend to anyone!

I purchased 2 dogs beds a few years ago that my dogs absolutely love and use all the time. One of them had become ill recently and unfortunately had a few accidents on both beds while ill for which I decided to just clean the covers and replace the interior foam. The cost of foam with the thickness I needed at my local fabric shop seemed silly to pay for when I could just get this size foam topper made of much higher quality foam with temperature cooling air pockets in the same thickness for about half the cost. It arrived in a vacuum sealed bag and since I didn’t need it right away, I let it expand for 3-4 days. Day 1 would be silly to consider it ready to sleep on and maybe you could get away with it towards the end of day 2, but biggest difference I noticed was on day 3 when it was clear it had enough time to expand completely. I used an electric carving knife to cut the topper down to size and it worked absolutely perfectly. I even have a 3rd piece leftover to make a 3rd, if I wanted to. Don’t order any topper if you needed it yesterday - just be patient and let it air out for several days before using. Most importantly, it has received the dogs’ approval. I would buy again!
