  • TSL2000, AND 4 × SP150's = SP6000 RIGHT?
Here is a TSL2000 a true 300W's of warm grow light, the spectrum can do all sorts of things considering different genetics, this light will grow you some good medicine. In the background are the SP150's, and even though small at a true 130.5 Watts, the light they pack with definitely do the job. You can expect great results with one in a 2 × 2' tent, only I prefer to go to the other route, I bought four and we'll set them up diagonally down the grow closet. The lights do not give off much heat and the drivers are miniscule compared to others but built well, the entire unit is pretty nice. You could probably drop it once or twice and it probably still work. Comparing the light is not a true way to judge between the warm light's of the two lights. Do to differences in cameras it may look "a little off" as shown on my camera, it made the spectrum look a little cooler white then its actual yellowed tented spectrum, much like the SP150, which you can actually see some of that yellow tinting. At the price point for the SP150's are the best light for your buck. You'd want to buy two for maximum coverage, as well as maximum potency in medication. If you can... buy 2, 4, 6 and set your light however you'd them. You'll notice most LED boards come fixed and compacted to one big board, you're not able to spread the light as you would with the SP150's. I debated on whether I should get another TSL2000 and set it side-by-side like the 150's. The the photo, is not how they will remain. They'll actually go down closet 2' × 10'. They'll actually look just like this ( / / / / ), and that will definitely cover the entire closet. If one goes out after a year, I will definitely replace it. This is quality full spectrum light for growing medical grade cannabis at a cheap price. It's definitely been proven over and over again to produce a strains maximum potential. Many people are now substituting the TSW2000 for the large hooded ceramic metal halide. I'm sure many people are considering moving to LEDs, but we all know from the past, the "light bulb" is one of the best ways of growing cannabis due to its wide spectrum uniform, but the technology is catching up making the high cost of light bulbs obsolete. I will definitely do business with Mars again, their customer service was very pleasing, it's become much more of a business with professionals in each area of the business. It looks like Mars will remain a household name in growing medical grade cannabis. Thank y o u Amazon, Thank y o u MARS! ... show more

  • Great value and great PAR distribution
Size: SP3000(42.5*4*3.1inch)
I bought one, then bought two more (so far) - the light pattern on these is the most balanced I’ve found so far. All comparable lights are the same cost/watt. My only complaint is that they could be easier to hang. There are 2 oval openings on each end (maybe 3cm wide) which I found narrow S-hooks I hang directly to the tent ceiling polls. (You could also loop the two S-hooks around a traditional adjustable hanging set but there is nothing on the light big enough to put a clip through directly.) Heat-wise they're very good. Also very bright, don’t look directly at it without UV sunglasses or you’ll likely have semi-blurry vision for a few hours. I’ve got three lights in a 5x5 daisy-chained to one control knob (you still need to plug all three in individually). My first light was an SF-4000 which I was very happy with at first but ultimately on that one I realized the importance of the evenness of PAR and will stick with these for now. I can’t speak to the higher-end lights out there and whether they’re worth the extra money but this is definitely a great mid-range light. You may also want to research Far Red lights that you setup to come on 15 min before normal lights and are on for 15 min after the lights go off which acts like a sunrise/sunset and wakes the plants up whereas supposedly without Far Red the first two hours the plant isn’t really using the light but rather in the wakeup process - same thing at night, plants rebuild at night like people (and actually do the growing at night) but without Far Red they waste the first two hours of darkness. Those lights are cheap, use little power and only need to be on 30 minutes/day. You’d hate to think you’re wasting 1/6th of your electricity and available time while plants wake up from total darkness to 100% intensity for 12 hours then back to total darkness. - You might also try 13.5 hours of light in flower. Between the first SF-4000, One of these lights (750 total watts) and one Far Red I got 1.5 GPW (trimmed and cured) on my first run - hoping for 2+ with 900 watts of even coverage on the next. ... show more
