Upgrading to the FC-E3000 bar fixture changes how you manage your canopy environment. Drawing a true 300W, the structural design offers a massive advantage over dense quantum boards. Light Distribution & Footprint: The 1184 Bridgelux diodes are spread across a multi-bar layout rather than packed into a central plate. This drastically reduces the center hot-spotting common in budget lights. The PPFD drop-off at the corners of a 3x3 footprint is minimal, giving uniform growth across the entire canopy. The bar design also allows for incredible vertical headroom; you can run it closer to the canopy without risking light bleaching, provided you dial back the dimming knob accordingly. Thermal Engineering: Because the bars are separated by open space, ambient air moves freely through the fixture. Furthermore, the ability to unmount the driver and place it outside the grow space is a game-changer for controlling ambient tent temperatures during warmer months. Pros: * Removable, adjustable bar system allows you to customize light density. * Detachable driver drastically reduces heat load inside the tent. * Smooth 10-100% dimming with reliable daisy-chain capability for multi-fixture control. So far it is going great! Was able to get wifi hooked easily and set up my app! Just make sure you are using your 2g wifi connection not the 5g when you hook to it and make sure you do the same with your phone so they can share a connection and do not forget to turn your phones Bluetooth on like I did at first lol my only problem was I thought I was missing pieces to the light but I found I received the upgraded light which does not use the wing nuts or wire hoop thingy. But I had gotten an older manual so I thought I was missing stuff, so just be aware and when you go to use the dimmer switch on the light, make sure to press the button by the daisy chain channels and plug in daisy chain chord to 1st channel. It wouldn't let me dim it otherwise until I had the app but otherwise it works flawlessly and my plants love it! We are definitely getting the larger midel once we get our house, but not much room so I just needed it for 3 little babies I have going. So much better than the little quantum board light I had. Now hopefully it lasts a long time and I'll be sure to update this if anything does happen. But so far I think I made the right choice! Love the bar style of the light and easily covers the entire 3 by 3 space. Could probably cover more if I needed it to and I love that I can run it at 60% to 75% and only be using 200 watts! This light is super bright so make sure to wear glasses and cant wait to add the uv and ir bars! I'll post my results at the end for everyone! 10/01/23 So update: I am 2 days in and the device has completely stopped connecting to any wifi or blue tooth and I can no longer control the dimmer at all. So I can either use it at 10% or 100% which both are useless to me as I'm in veg! I hope mars has a solution and when I shut the light off in the app it is no longer shutting off. So I have no idea what is wrong with this. I have to manually unplug it to shut it off. The dimmer switch doesn't shut it off either anymore. UPDATE: Less than 1 month later the hardware failed and it no longer can be dimmed or connected to the app through blue tooth or wifi. I have gotten no help from mars with the issues which obviously are the hardware and am wondering why these are being sold for hundreds of dollars when they aren't worth anything close to that. I mean if the manual dimmer switch worked than it would be fine and I could still use it but the manual dimmer switch doesn't even work! Honestly I should have just saved up and bought the AC Infinity light but I thought mars was supposed to be a good brand but so far they suck! It was good for 30 days so now I'm suspicious. If I was someone looking for a new light, just save up and don't waste your money on these! If someone would have at least answered me and helped me fix the issue, I would have recommend the light cuz when it works it is nice but it has not worked almost at all and it supposed to be brand new and I just wish I had listened to the reviews. The hardware is complete junk!

The worst part so far. And I have not even had a chance to mount the light. First, the instructions suck! Take your time, be patient, and analyze the product set up. If you do that, it will all work out fine.

I woke up to only 3 bars lit up. I went through every connection and checked other plugs. I haven't had this light for a year. I purchased this on or about the 17th of February 2023 and it's December 29th. It's a big disappointment to spend over $200 on 1 light and it doesn't last a year. When I could've went with a cheaper company and it last for at least a year. I have 2 led lights made by exlenvce that I bought 2 years ago that still works and they wasn't even half as much as the MARS HYDRO FC-E3000. BIG LET DOWN!!!! Was used for my indoors 2x4 garden tent peppers and tomatoes. UPDATE: After, writing this review amazon and there Mars Hydrop rep contacted me and fixed the problem, by replacing the led bar that went out. The light now works as advertised. I highly recommend this light.
