Great if you're wanting a "medium" amount of hair stripped

This knife is great. It does a good job and is comfortable to use. Just know that it allows you to pull a medium amount of hair. If you're looking to rip out some coat, you'll need a different knife.

Buy a left handed one while you are at it

Works great on my Standard Schnauzer for carding undercoat out. I dont use this for stripping her wire as it is not comfortable for that purpose, but for undercoat removal it cant be beat. Grab a left handed while you are at it to relieve some repetitive strain and make getting the other side of your dog easier. I would love one with a handle that has a 30 degree angle on it to make getting her haunches easier.

Works good but awkward to hold. Maybe it’s just the size of my hand but it’s uncomfortable. It worked amazing to strip my dog’s wire coat though! Photos show before and after stripping the coat around my dogs shoulders and neck.
