That was all they needed to be work ready. They come with a protective polish. This will rub off on fabric so wipe it down with the included cloth. The insole is very comfortable. I see there is a multipiece insole which has a removable insert to expand the width from d to ee. I measure an e width but did not need to remove the insert. Innovative speed lace design. So I haven't had them on the job site yet but I tried them on and walked arround a bit and they were pretty comfortable. Very stiff up in the ankle/lower calf area but I'm sure they just need broken in. The flat bottoms will be good for walking on top plate having no heels is perfect for walking plate. It's rainy season coming up so we'll see how they hold up in the rain. Just wore them on the job yesterday and I got to say they are some of the best boots I've worn. Ordered size 11. I wear size 11 in sneakers and work boots. I’ve ordered 30+ pairs of work boots and all fit correctly at size 11. These boots my toe only reached the start of the laces. They are made for giants. They were well well well above my calf they were larger than rain boots. They seem well made and quality but you’ll have to order 3-4 sizes smaller than you normally wear ... show more
