I love this mic, for a few reasons. I have other mics as this is how I made my assessment of this one. That said, this mic really makes it super easy to get your foot in the door with audio, gaming, streaming, etc. but mainly audio and understanding the importance of gear. Thid mic has a really clean look and comes with a lengthy "snake" cable (or any other term that you prefer, looking at you audiophiles) and while it comes with your typical 1/4 aux, they give you a free 1/4 to 3.5mm aux cable that can range up to $20+ for quality adapters. I think this company/seller did a great job of having everything you would need for a mic, and the initial set up other than a bag, a little cheap bag would have been cool actually, but no biggie as they really got this right as an entry level mic. The sound is actually pretty darn decent, I had used it thus far for some voice overs, of course through my sound system like a karaoke superstar, and just some regular recording for scripts, kind of like voice memos being it's easier to leave it hooked up to my mic stand and rig. I can't say I would want to use it for actual live performances, like as maybe a singer or back up vocalist for a band especially with many stage set ups and boards audio engineers use being such high quality these days (usually) this mic really is not built for that. It is although, a great beginner to intermediate piece of equipment. I guess I am saying, I am pleasantly surprised on what a well-built total package mic this was at the price point. It's been great to me thus far and serves my needs as an extra mic for the multiple endeavors and uses. Oh, I also think it's great that most drivers will recognize this mic once plugged in and it doesn't require a additional power source as well. This review is a bit all over but the bottom-line is for the price, and what this mic comes with, its highly worth it if needed. I would pick it up! Two thumbs up! ... show more

The sound is full and clear. The mic has some weight and a nice, shiny finish. The kit comes with an XLR to 1/4" cable plus a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter. Has a giant on/off switch on the mic which is generally a sign of a junk microphone. I guess it makes sense for a "karaoke" microphone, but switches on mics make me cringe. Flipping them when amplified can generate a shocking pop. ... show more
