When I pulled them out of the shipping bag I thought: Gees... these pants are stiff & very, very scratchy!! Never the less, I tried them on and my immediate reaction was: I can't wear these pants, they're too stiff & scratchy ..."how could anybody like these pants." The fit seemed ok but I was certain I couldn't tolerate them, especially on a hot day. Disappointed. I liked the cut well enough, and I liked the Camo look. I also liked the phone pocket. The waist & length were fine, but ... I decided I'd return them the next day and search for a replacement. It was late and I didn't feel like setting up the amazon return. Next morning I got the pants, labels, stickers together, but looking at the pants one more time I figured I'd dive into the amazon Reviews more carefully because I did like them... so I went searching more carefully, even posting a question about the stiff-n-scratchy issues. That brought up several Reviews I'd missed. "OK" I thought, I'm gonna wash them! and I did... Good decision. When I pulled them out of the Washer they felt better. Then I put them in the Dryer and when they came out they felt completely different... so much better! I wore them the next day, a warm one here, and I must admit, they are great to wear. The fit & the comfort & the look is all good! They're light weight, soft not scratchy, very comfortable, didn't shrink in the dryer, plus the Camo look is subdued and stylish. Glad I kept them and Happy to recommend them.

Dickies has been a solid brand since pretty much forever, and these pants live up to the legacy they've built. They're lightweight but absolutely durable, and they're comfortable as hell. Pockets are generous. For work pants, these are my new go-to.

The brand I prefer Un!onbay was not in stock in my size or color preference. This is my 2nd purchase of Dickies brand, and both times have been dissapointed. I bought these two sizes bigger and they are still uncomfortably tight at the waist. And the cargo pockets and regular side pockets are at least 1/3 smaller than the other brand. I think the material and stitching is better with Dickies - heavier material. But, for me size matters.

I am a cargo pants fiend for lack of better terms. It is the only type of pants I wear aside from jeans or sweatpants every blue moon. But, I needed a more professional pair of pants because I had a couple of events coming up, so I bought these. I was genuinely astonished at how well they fit. They are breathable and comfortable. I never got hot in these in the warmer months and my legs have never gotten cold with these pants in the cold months either. If you want a less casual pair of cargo pants, these should be your go-to!
