This comes assembled, heavy and is sturdy, which I did not expect. I use it to store my paints and calligraphy pens and other accessories. I find now I want/need the biggest one they have as I keep adding accessories. I will be getting that as soon as my art area is finished w/ a ladder shelf.

This holder is sturdy, well designed, and is well assembled. However, I gave it a four because it arrived with a long crack all up the back. In fact, I ordered another similar Marbrasse bamboo holder and they both came that way. I suspect it happened during shipping, possibly because of unseasoned wood drying out too fast. I considered sending them both back for replacement but needed them right away and elected to clamp and glue them instead. ... show more

    • Just what I needed
I love how all of my pens are in order and easy to see. I did have to return one that had a split up the back. This one also has a little micro split starting, but I don't think it should affect it's use, especially since it just sits there. It's of a nice size and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great format for all our adult coloring pens and pencils. The shape and layout is very functional. Our unit had a couple of loose joints but there are enough interlocking pieces that it does not affect overall unit structure.
