Absolutely love this! It looks cute sitting on my desk and helps me keep all of my items I use daily together and organized! It's very spacious as well and the drawer fits quite a bit of stuff in it as well, I have all of my small tools I use in the drawer. It was easy to assemble, but be careful not to tighten the screws too much or be too rough with the wood because it's cheap wood and will break or chip! The smell of the wood stinks really bad when it's taken outta the box to be assembled but after it sitting out over night to air out, the smell went away. 😁

This product is slightly more complicated than the listing seems to imply. You actually have to fully assemble this thing together, which can be a bit difficult if you’re doing it solo and not on a completely flat surface. Requires a lot of balancing the thing while holding it together in order to get everything screwed in correctly, but its not even as hard as I’m making it sound. You might just need an extra hand every now and then to help you out. This product also comes with a very VERY tiny screwdriver meant to help you screw in everything... but honestly, I tore up my skin on my hands using it. I would recommend just using your own screwdriver or buying a new one, the tiny one that comes with it absolutely destroys the skin on your fingers and hands via the cheap material its made of and the repetitive motions you need to do in order to use it. Really, the one it comes with isn’t worth using. However once assembled the product works great. Not the most sturdy thing in the world, it would probably shatter to pieces like glass if you dropped it, but it has a good support system so that it sits perfectly on a surface. This actually held all my pens and markers and pencils that I use for my art, which I wasn’t expecting it to do. Great size, fits about 6-8 pens in each slot depending on the size of the pens (for example, about 6 copic markers per slot) and the drawer can actually hold a fair amount of pens as well. The flat surface in the middle is actually really handy for storing things like erasers and led cases. I personalized mine with some stickers I had lying around, and I also attempted to draw on it with marker. This thing is SUUUPER resistant to being drawn on, you’d seriously have to paint it with real paint (not even paint pens work) if you want to personalize this thing in any way. Though, if you’re looking for something that WILL NOT stain under pretty much ANY circumstances, this is great for you. In my opinion, I’d give it a 8/10 considering it feels much more fragile that it probably is. Seriously, it will probably break the second its knocked off of a surface, but otherwise its great and should fit most organizational needs.

It's exactly what I expected for $16; which is to say, yes the particle board is thin (3mm), the screws do show because of this thinness, and it is a small/compact shelf. However, it's sturdier than I expected for what is essentially one of those jigsaw 3d wooden puzzles. It was bought for colored pencil storage and was able to fit a good amount (around 400+ pencils). I didn't like the knob it came with, so I just turned the drawer backwards. Assembly was quick and easy, and was able to be done within an 8 minute youtube video. The instructions weren't super clear but you can get by with the images alone. They even provide a tiny screwdriver to put it together, but I would recommend going with one of your own since the small one can hurt to use (at least for my weak baby hands). Overall, I'm happy with my purchase for my needs. It does its job and hasn't shown any stress from the things I've put in it; it's also one of the cheapest desktop storage solutions I've found.

I needed something to hold a bunch of little tools and I spent hours. I didnt want baskets or containers because I needed access at all times. This was the only thing I could find. It was pricey but I thought what the heck. It's easy to build if you look at the pictures. It took me about 15 minutes once I organized the pieces. The pieces were falling apart so I had to use other wood to hold them in place until I got the screws in. I've never seen screw holes like this before. They are exposed (see pictures). But they do hold pretty well. After assembling everything, I ended up using Elmer's glue to fill in the screw holes so items wouldnt get caught in the holes or on the screws. This felt more like a toy then a tool organizer because it is small. But it works! It's just much smaller and more fragile (the drawer) than anticipated... especially for the price. If there were other affordable options, I probably wouldnt have bought this. But I needed a tiny tool organizer that sat on top of my craft table. Wish I could have found other options. Pretty expensive for something so small and fragile (until I glued it ALL together.. including the screw holes, where all pieces came together and the drawer) For reference, I use a bottle of water, a felt tip pen and a 2.5 inch stapler in one of my pictures

I cannot begin to understand the positive reviews on this. It may as well have been made of wet cardboard and railroad spikes. Let's start with the directions comprised of blurry outlines of the pieces, which are not labelled in any way. Some of the diagrams for the pieces are almost entirely indistinguishable from others, so you get to play "Guess which part this is." Fortunately, the presence or lack of slots for tabs to go into helps simply the game a little. The "photos" of the assembly are equally as blurry and one will burn their retinas out attempting to decipher which pieces go where. By using the relative size of the pieces and vague mirages of slots in the pictures, you can narrow your wrong guesses down to a couple of choices. On to the materials. I can't believe I paid anything for this, much less $16. There is nothing wood about this. It's some kind of fiberboard with a veneer on it. That would be okay if it didn't disintegrate when you attempt to put the screws into.... WHERE? Oh yes, there are no screw holes for the actual threaded part of the screws. There's a hole in one piece for the screw to go into, which then "screws" into...literally....nothing. The mating piece has a SLOT(s) that the screw supposedly should align with. You've got maybe a 25% chance of that working out. So I have pieces here that don't attach because the screw doesn't align with the slot. See the pics. First picture is one of the slots the screws go into, in theory. The second picture is an example of the odds you face getting the screw into the slot. In this case, there was no way to get that screw in there without breaking off the tabs on the receiving piece. To clarify, there are tabs and associated slots to go into, along with the screw/slot nightmare. So, if screw doesn't align, you are out of luck, because tabs help align (or not) and hold the pieces. So, three pieces in on the main part of the organizer, and I am unable to complete the assembly because there is no way to successfully attach that piece. On the brightside, I don't have to try to finish the assembly only to hit a showstopper later on in the frustration chain. This may be the worst piece of junk I have ever purchased. I am not going to attempt to stuff it back in to the box, drive an hour and a half round trip and spend more in gas than the item is worth, to return it. It's going right into the trash. Do yourself a favor and skip this. Even if you manage to assemble it, against the odds, the visible large screw heads and the really cheap looking veneer (looks NOTHING like the item picture).... Yeah, save your money. By the way, I'm an engineer and absolutely know how to work a screwdriver.

For the price, it's cute. It comes with everything you'll need to put it together, including a little screwdriver. I wanted it for my desk and I don't think it's going to work for it, but it's good to help some of the clutter where my kids do their homework. It's kind of difficult to tell how large this is in pictures, hopefully with full length pencils and stuff people will be able to get an idea of the size better. It's not bad though, especially for the price and if you're needing something to help declutter pencils and markers and stuff that can junk up a desk. Kind of awkward to put together, but still easy. Instructions are a little small so took a bit of squinting from my old eyes lol, but still easy enough to follow. Despite it not being what I wanted for my own desk, I still think it's a good purchase b/c the price is pretty cheap. It does smell though. Has this weird fishy pee smell to it which is weird, but will hopefully air out quickly.

Comes un-assembled. Pieces are not numbered. They need removable number stickers Hard to hold together and get tabs in slots to screw in. One piece cracked in back when trying to put tabs in. Screws have dome heads and should be flat head. Overall for this tiny item, took about an hour to put together, too long! Will not buy again or recommend. Can buy similar at the Swedish box store.

I took one look at this and felt this was a piece of junk. But you know how it is, I had to build it anyway regardless just for my own personal satisfaction. And the construction is odd, to be sure, but the final product isn't half bad! It's not hyper-strong, but it's strong enough to hold pens and such, which is what I was after. It actually tidied up my desk workspace pretty nicely, so I have to say mission accomplished.
