The product itself is fine. The pictures on the listing show only blue, which led me to believe I would receive a blue box as required by my kids’ school supply list. I received clear and black. Only after I received the product did I notice that the listing said “multicolor” in the description. If this was the case then more colors ought to be displayed in the listing. It is not worth returning, I’m just frustrated that now we have to go to a store and pray the blue ones aren’t sold out because everyone’s school list requires it. I have a desk and there used to be a bunch of loose pencils and pens in one of the drawers. I was getting tired of having them rattle around every time I opened the drawer. Having to rummage through to find the one I wanted was taking a lot more time than I wanted to spend. So I bought this. It shipped with Prime and arrived in two days. I immediately put all of my pens and pencils into the box. Thankfully everything fit, since I only bought one and didn't have a backup plan. There was enough room left over for a small pair of scissors. The pencil box is a weird blue color and is sort of see-through. That isn't really all that useful of a feature since I already know that it has my pens and pencils in it, but if you buy a bunch of these and put different things into each one maybe that would be helpful for you. Dimensions are sufficient for what the use it's advertised for. There might be better pencil boxes, or pencil boxes with more or fancier features, but this one cost me less than $5, holes everything that I need, and fits inside my desk drawer. My first grader is required to keep all of her school supplies in an average sized pencil case. Most of the other boxes on the market are fairly simple. When I saw the square design on the top, I was immediately attracted to this box. I like something that is a little different for my girls and this was. When it arrived, the color was transparent blue just like the picture. A nice color. The box is easy to open and holds all of her supplies from pencils to scissors and glue. Overall this pencil box is perfect for a first grader. The quality is a little thin and will not last more then a year.
