I'll be honest, I did not have high hopes for this wig because of the price. I was expecting it to feel very cheap and tangle easily like other cheap wigs I bought. But this one, it's probably my favorite wig so far! It's SORT OF realistic (key word: SORT OF) , it doesn't tangle easily at all, it's soft, and the bangs are very nice. OH AND ALSO I have a big head and it fit perfectly! 👍 would totally recommend. But it's not really brown, more of a different color. But I still love it! ^__^ ... show more

I am new to wigs (I’ve worn short bob wigs twice before, but that’s it), so was a little hesitant to try such a long one for some ambient aerial mermaid-ing. I was worried it would fall right off, or you’d see the cap underneath if the hair was thin… but both were a total non issue with this wig. I was frankly shocked at how good a quality this is for a $12 wig. The colors are super vibrant (would be great for cosplay, definitely too shiny/plastic-y to pretend it’s died natural hair), the hair looks great when brushed out to detangle, and the length is perfect for a mermaid costume! I tried this in two colors, the bright pink (called peach-something, I can’t remember) and light blue (“azure” I think). I loved the pink, did not love the blue with my costume (made me look super pale). To get this to survive an aerial performance, I braided my hair, and stuffed it under the included wig cap. I used a bunch of Bobby pins (probably 10-15) to secure the wig to my head, and my friend had some double-sides body tape I put underneath the very front of the wig’s hairline and the top of my forehead (and man that stuff was great, I will definitely be using that in the future!). The only downside is the bangs are LONG. Kind of emo-in-your-face long. I’d trim them if I was more confident, but I’m afraid of making them look a little derpy. So I’ll probably just be living with the emo bangs for the near future. So if you’re on the fence about this one, 1000% get it. If my inexperienced self can make it work, you can too! ... show more

It is ridiculous how affordable and quality this wig is. I neeevverrrr buy wigs off Amazon it feels like I'm doing something heinous lol but this wasn't too bad! I wanted to wear basically exactly as the photo, so I don't know if it'll work for you if you want to use it as a styling base or if you need to use heat, but it worked very well for me. Pros: 1) Color looks just like the photo, 2) Cut looks just like photo, 3) Comfortable and not too loose or tight, 4) Little to no maintenance out of the bag, I only needed to pin the sides of the bangs and detangle like two knots, 5) Actually came with a full wig cap set instead of just the mesh haha Cons: 1) You will need to do some styling on the bangs, 2) It will tangle easily once you wear it out so just be extra careful and maintain it well, 3) It seems the back of the hair is not as full as the rest, so I could feel the wefts, but I'm not sure if it was actually visible from behind. Grandma Barbie approved! This wig was great for my Halloween costume…exactly the look I wanted! The wig is silky to feel, did not tangle, had a comfortable fit. You can easily trim the long bangs to your liking and though the hairline was not visible under my hat, it was natural enough that it could work without a hat. Got this to accompany a Daria costume (from the 90's cartoon MTV show). The bangs are on the longer side, but it gives plenty of flex when trimming! It was my 2nd wig trimming the bangs of. I'd say as long as you use the technique of cutting upwards at an angle and not just directly horizontally across, you can get some VERY believable bangs. I liked how mine fell over the fake glasses I wore with my costume. This wig is very soft, and a superb value for a costume wig! As far as heat resistance, I would suggest the lowest setting possible on straightener. Thing is, it comes with a nice straightness with a touch of wave. It seemed unnecessary to do to the wig, for me. If you wear this with thicker fabrics resembling say wool, it kind of tangles the wig a bit. That is pretty typical of wigs that are reasonably priced, though. I can see so many other uses for this wig! Especially for cosplay and Anime characters, or whatever comes to the imagination! I got this wig because I’m starting to do drag but I’m strapped for cash, for the price point it’s at this wig is much better than expected. I took one star off because there are many short bits in the wefts that make it difficult to style (roller setting this wig would be a nightmare) but it’s not impossible. Also the front bang is definitely very dense compared to the rest of the wig, when cutting the bangs I had to texturize them quite a bit because of how much hair there was. ... show more
