I'm a fan of Maples Rugs. US company, great colors and designs. I love that they are rubber backed. I dont need or want thick plush heavy carpeting everywhere. I actually prefer a thin rug, but that comes at the cost of needing a separate backer to keep them in place. I had stumbled upon a Maples Rug several years ago that was large enough to use as an area rug and had good rubber backing. I loved it, and I still have it, but recently I retired it as my mood for something else came up (now I use it outside). I didnt replace it with another Maples, if only because I didnt see the color/pattern I wanted. But I imagine at some point I will. Then there are other areas of the house where I have smaller Maples Rugs- in front of doors, etc. I have probably 6 rugs of assorted sizes from this brand. I just like it, a lot. Yes, they are thin, light, but that rubber backing is where it is at for me. If you need thick, plush, then seek elsewhere. I totally understand. These may not be for everyone because of the lightweight factor. On the plus side, no matter the size, they fold up or roll up easily for storage. When I decided to get a new little rug for my step dad, I immediately set out to look at Maples Rugs. He had a rubber backed rug that was falling apart and no longer had any grip on his ceramic floor. I bought this as a Christmas gift and he began using it immediately. I can toe it a little and it moves, so not sure if it is a matter of the rubber not being as grippy as my others, or it is simply the flooring that it is on. He has it in a cold spot of the house on a slick ceramic floor. Basically in a breezeway between kitchen and heading out to the garage. But it does slide around, and is way better than what he had. One note on vacuuming. I find that using the non beater bar option (like a floor option) is better than the carpet option. These are short knap, and the beater bar could eventually pull up on the fibers. Best to shake out the rugs and then vacuum floor, or just gently go over the rug itself. Can be washed in washer no problem.

I ordered three of these rugs for the kitchen. They are nicely made and I love the non skid backing. One is used as an entryway rug from the garage. Another is right in front of the refrigerator, and the other in front of the sink. They add a nice splash of color. It's a plus that they are washable and soft for those who go barefoot.

Very nice rug with good quality. The colors are bright and cheerful. It's somewhat soft, I mean it's a rug, but not scratchy. It lays nice and flat, stays put very well. It's right off my front door and gets all the traffic. It's held up perfectly and is easy to vacuum. It's stay clean and nice and I'm happy with it. I would buy it again.

Purchased the beige small size for bathroom near my shower and sink. Size perfect. Looks beautiful. Thin enough I can open and shut the door to the tub room area. Design is beautiful. I washed it already and it washes beautifully. It was delivered beautifully packaged and rolled up. The beige was a great price alittle over $11. I went back to get the Persian blue so I could put that in the tub room but that price was over $19. Shucks. Luv this rug and the design. Maybe I should pick up another beige.

I purchased this kitchen carpet to replace a thicker rug that ended up being a really huge trip hazard. This rug is thinner and as of yet, not a single person has rolled or tripped on it. It's really perfect. Washes up nicely in the washing machine. I hang it dry - but says it can be tumbled on low. Honestly I purchased 1 to just try it and then went back and bought a second for backup. With the rubber like backing - it stays put. Nice, thin profile - no tripping. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I had to finally get rid of my old living room rug after years of torment. It was made well and pretty pricey ($300) when purchased. I was looking for some USA made rugs on Amazon this time around and also didn't wanna dish out as much money. Came across this company and saw that most, if not all of their rugs are made here and are very affordable. So far I am not disappointed. The design looks exactly like the images, the material for the rug is soft and just like the classic style I'm used to, not cheap crap all over the storefront that will need to be replaced in 6 months to a year. However, I will note that the heaviness along with thickness can't top my previous rug. Of course, given the price difference, I will still rate this five stars, as I doubt you can find many options better at this price point.

The media could not be loaded. I have had Several rugs before and none have been as brilliant! Colors go throughout the rug fibers. Not just on the top! This rug stands up to pets for sure! I love the colors and the pattern. This pattern shows little debre like grass from mowing! Many reviews I read on Maples say the same. Comfort level is as very good. Non slip backing staying in place in this high traffic area! I also got a great review from my husband when he saw it! :) Highly recommend this Company and Rug!
