Nice mannequin but it is not entirely good for absolute beginners. It has natural scalp looks but the hair is too long, strong and has so much short hair within. Mannequin is perfect for upgraders. Takes heat

I purchased this mannequin head with human hair for my daughter as a Christmas gift, and she absolutely loves using it to practice different hairstyles. The hair is 100% human hair, which makes a big difference—it’s easy to comb, style, and manage, just like real hair. The hair is thick and long which makes it easy to do a number of different styles. It’s been a great tool for learning and practicing. I comes with some hair accessories to use on the mannequin which is a plus. The only downside is the stand. It tends to tip over easily, which can make it a bit frustrating to use, especially for a child trying to work on hairstyles. A sturdier stand would definitely improve the overall experience. Other than that, the mannequin itself is a great buy and works exactly as expected. I would recommend it, but just be aware that you may need a more stable stand. ... show more

Great product for practicing how to cornrow etc. It's not heavy. The hair on the head was manageable,no tangling plus I also got a comb, elastic bands, hair pins and more. For the price I highly recommend this mannequin head. Also the stand was very sturdy and strong, easy to assemble.
