This is the first year for us as bee keepers . And I can say without this tub it would’ve taken a solid week of work to get my honey from hive to jars . My frames have plastic middles were the bees make comb on . I used a sturdy rubber spatula to scape it off into a bucket with a painters mesh filter. When the bucket was full I just tied the mesh bag and dropped into my Manna bin . The bottom is screened to allow the honey to drip through not the bag. I was able to get over 100 lbs of honey and wax in there and let it drip for a week . The mesh bags were pretty light at that point and the pour spout worked great for filling my mason jars . A must for the hobby bee keeper

This is a great box for uncapping. Fairly reasonable and it holds quite of bit of honey. The screen does a decent job at filtering out honey and wax, clean up is simple, I put it outside near the hives and the bees gather up all the honey. After a day or two any left over is cleaned up. I keep it covered if it is going to rain, otherwise just leave it out until all the honey is gone then you have the wax left over!

Very solid-sturdy construction. Thought out. Works great - wish there was a more airtight assembly (i'm not sure if thats possible or even desirable - but I would prefer air tight while passively straining. Right now we are processing 6 hives and this is a very welcomed addition to helping us strain. We're very close to needing a centrifugal setup...sigh - someday.

This is a very handy uncapping tank. It works well for a person with a few hives (I have 6). I did not stack one tank on top of the other because I had a small garden table that made it the right height for me. It is an easy clean up and all the accessories fit inside when finished.

Very simple. First time using this extracting honey, I couldn't believe how clean we were. Simple, affordable solution to dealing with messy wax cappings.

Just used the uncapping tank for the first time. The cover does not snap tightly closed. I've tried every configuration and the cover will not stay on the tank. Will reach out for a replacement. Very disappointed.
