I was originally going to buy the white option but instead, I purchased the "off white" color and would describe it as more of a pale greyish beige. It's darker than I was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised at how stylish it looks. The drawers have a backing that is double-sided: one is a wood veneer and the other side is the same color veneer as the rest of the dresser. These can be applied either way depending on your taste. Another reviewer stated it took them hours to assemble. I'm not sure how that's even possible, it took me exactly 50 minutes (I timed myself). The only tools I used were a cheap drill (or screwdriver), and a hammer. I was impressed that there were a lot of extra small bits in case you needed extra or some screw or nail happen to be defective. That wasn't the case for me, but nothing stinks more than having one piece mess everything up. A tip I would give to anybody buying this - in regards to assembly - the instructions tell you to put the 4 hairpin legs on first - DO NOT DO THIS. They make it difficult to lay the sides down flat while assembling the frame. I recommend putting the legs on at the end prior to inserting the drawers. :) The drawer slides come assembled already - something a typical IKEA piece would not have attached in advance. Major time saver. My only complaint about the piece is that the paneling is very thin/delicate so anything sharp could cause a noticeable ding. Just be careful, it's not solid steel or solid wood, don't treat it as invincible. ... show more

I purchased this cute, small dresser and the night stand to match. The three drawers are pretty large, can fit a good amount of stuff in them. Be patient with the instructions, you'll see that it's a very simple assembly, just lots of pieces. Very sturdy when put together. Luv this look, kinda retro which I didn't know I liked until I got these. One thing I must mention is the outer boards are not as light a color as appears but not too dark either. This piece was super easy to assemble. The first one took my husband and I about 1:30 min. The second one, about 40min. I like the design as it is modern ish. Wish the feet were gold ( maybe for that I should deduct a star 🤔), buy the color is this weird marron color. I let is slide because my bedroom’s hardwood floors kind of disguised it. The drawers open and closes smoothly, but I would not and will not handle it roughly. I don’t think it would last long if I did. I would also not put too heavy of a load in them. I like the size, height and depth very much. I dislike very much what they call “off white”. It’s more of a grey color. Someone finicky about matching colors would definitely loose sleep of how much “not off white” these things are. Would I buy it again? Only if the paper-like bottom of the drawers were improved to some more heavy duty material, and if the “off white” was actually that, otherwise, I would not. ... show more

Assembly wasn’t too bad. But the smell of this product is significant. Takes days for the chemical scent to dissipate. It’s gorgeous but so, so easy to scratch the drawer faces during assembly so be cautious! The drawer bottoms are pretty flimsy so we’ll likely be reinforcing them. Overall it’s fine for my daughter’s room and looks lovely. For the price I can’t complain too much about the sturdiness but if you have a significant amount of clothing to store in this I’d recommend reinforcing the drawer bottoms or finding something else. ... show more

The plus, it is exactly what it claims to be. It’s aesthetically pleasing, everything works. The not so plus, this thing wouldn’t last one year if it was my every day dresser. Fortunately it will go in my guest room and will be used minimally. The box is so heavy yet the particle board has to be among the cheapest I’ve ever seen. See my pics! Shipped quickly, easy instructions, everything labeled correctly, easy assemble. About a couple hours to build with a power Philips hand tool. TIP: The back two panels are a little tricky to get all even. Instead of nailing the lower back panel first like the instructions suggest, I laid the whole dresser front down on the floor and placed both panels on the back (with the plastic strip in the middle) so I could be sure it’s all lined up before nailing anything down. I wanted be sure the upper panel is straight and flush with the top of the dresser, since that’s most important when it’s all done! So that seems to work really good. Sturdy, drawers glide nicely. It’s a Medium brown tone, The feet is like a salmon color. Nice little dresser for the $, I have my tv on it. I also bought the matching nightstand, also nice. Hope this helps! ... show more

I’m a smaller chick and I was able to load it in my car and up to the third floor, thanks to my building being looked down like the purge, without anyone dying. I’m going to assume the people who struggled with this are the reason shampoo bottles have directions. I was able to put it together no problems. It’s sturdy and the perfect tv stand/storage for my studio. Follow the directions. Lay it out before you start and get organized. Work smarter not harder and it’s maybe an hour of your time.
