Very disappointed in this product. Wish I could return it. Took a 2-3 days for 2 handy guys to put together. For the amount we paid, we expected much better quality or at least have the parts align. Quality is poor, wood is cheap, thin, bends. The doors scrape the side of the wood board when you open or shut them. It’s not a smooth open and close. The backing is super thin. For something this size, the backing should be thicker. Overall, do not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere. ... show more

For being compressed wood this armoire is really great quality. Amazon had a company deliver in 4 separate boxes. It took about 4hrs to put together. The final product is really beautiful. I may order the other pieces to match.

I looked all over for a quality armoire and I was genuinely excited to see if the Manhattan was going to be a gem. First off…assembly was mostly a breeze with the exception of the back large panels and the doors…these were a real pain. The panels are extremely difficult to line up on the 3 sections. Secondly, the doors are difficult for one very unfortunate reason—the wood in this entire piece is very poor quality and strips / crumbles / breaks very easy. This comes into play with you are trying to adjust the doors (as per instructions) you have to take screws in and out and a bunch of them just stripped with the brittle material. Another small issue is the position of the front handles is a tad bit low but look amazing nonetheless. I think this piece could be absolutely amazing if it just was made with slightly better materials. ... show more

It's a nice closet but the smells is terrible. I received it several weeks ago and it still smells like chemicals in my bedroom. I'm very disappointed beause I already put it together and won't bother to return it.
