I've been using this handheld console for about a week now, and I'm really impressed so far! It's been a great size for on-the-go entertainment, as well as if I want to play a quick game of Mario Kart at night. It's portable enough for a small bag or to take into different rooms, but comfortable enough to play for long periods of time in one spot. The graphics so far have been fantastic, and it runs smoothly without lagging or glitching. One of my favorite features is the types of games it can emulate. I grew up with a DS, and those games are very near and dear to me. It's been a blast playing the old DS Mario Kart and experiencing some of that childlike wonder again! Some of its diversity includes classic Wii, Xbox, and PlayStation games. Overall, it's been convenient and really nostalgic. I would recommend this for anyone who loves the old retro games of their childhood! Between its strong performance, game variety, and how portable it is, it makes for a great handheld device for everyone!

I love this little console, makes it so much easier to play my games on the go! The controls are nice and tactile and the screen is plenty bright and easy to see. The speakers aren't any audiophiles dream or anything but they definitely are not too bad. My only complaint is that the dsi emulators don't work with the integrated controls. Other than that I have zero complaints

Have had this thing for a few days and really loving it. It runs Android so it is like gaming on your phone, but on a dedicated device that; 1. Isn't sharing storage and ram with 1,000 apps in the background, 2. Has a built-in remote, fan, and headphone jack. I've played games on a few different console emulators that seem to run just fine, and also tried the Minecraft app taken right from the Play Store, which ran great. I have yet to try streaming (although, I can't imagine that will be an issue since it is essentially just a screen and remote at that point), and casting to our projector, but I'll come back and update. The storage and getting games onto it/setup takes some work, but so worth it to hit the power button, jump right into a game launcher, and play virtually anything pre-PS2. It is really nice to put games (that could distract on my phone or laptop) onto a dedicated device and then have physical buttons. Perfect to pop in a backpack and take on a trip. Well done Mangmi!

First, it's important to understand that this device is not for everyone. It arrives completely bare—no games, no emulators, and no front-end installed. You have to set everything up yourself from scratch. At first, I found the process intimidating, but after watching a few YouTube tutorials, it became manageable. Expect to spend several hours downloading apps, configuring emulators, and organizing your game library. If you want a plug-and-play experience, a Linux-based handheld with everything preconfigured may be a better choice. That said, Android has some clear advantages. You have access to the Google Play Store, can play Android games, and battery life is generally better, especially when using sleep mode. Performance is decent for what the hardware is designed to do. Systems up to PSP run well overall. PlayStation 1 games can be played at up to 3x resolution, which looks fantastic on the screen. Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, and other classic systems have also performed well in my testing. N64 can be challenging to emulate on weaker hardware, so it was nice to see good results here. Some PSP titles require native resolution for the best experience, but performance has been solid overall. Anything below PSP runs flawlessly, as expected. For GameCube, Wii, PS2, and other more demanding systems, consider compatibility a bonus rather than an expectation. The hardware simply wasn't designed for those consoles. Some games are playable with significant underclocking and tweaking, while others remain unplayable. Nintendo DS games generally need to run at native resolution to maintain full speed. My biggest issue is the value proposition. At the current Amazon price, I expected better performance. I also own an Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini, which cost less and delivers substantially more power thanks to its processor. It can run many games that struggle on the Mangmi Air X, despite having only 2GB of RAM. The Mangmi does have a much larger and more impressive screen, which is a major advantage, but in raw performance the Ayaneo is clearly ahead. The Ayaneo also feels more premium, with denser plastics and a sturdier overall construction. The Mangmi Air X is still a comfortable handheld. The built-in grips make it easy to hold during longer gaming sessions, the D-pad is responsive, and the analog sticks feel good quality. Battery life has been respectable so far. One downside is the cooling fan, which becomes quite noticeable in Balanced mode, especially when running more demanding games. Overall, this is a decent handheld with a good screen, comfortable ergonomics, and solid performance for retro systems up to PSP. However, the Snapdragon processor is from 2020 and shows its limitations when attempting more demanding emulation. If you can find the device on sale and your primary goal is PSP, Dreamcast, N64, and older systems, it's a good option. If you're looking for stronger GameCube, Wii, or PS2 performance, there are better values available.
