Extremely grippy mat. Perfect for hot yoga. Exactly like the lulu mats, except I haven’t had any issue with the bottom spongier layer holding moisture. Not easy to clean after practice- best to use a wipe of some kind, as any spray cleaner will immediately be absorbed. I do wish I’d gotten black as sweat leaves a dark mark on the teal mat, which is not great if you’re laying for a while and leave a sweat silhouette of your rear. Overall worth it just to not slide during sweaty yoga. Oh and just let it air for 2 days after you receive it. It’s stinky like rubber or chemicals but if you unroll it and let it sit it’s fine. ... show more

This is a weird yoga mat. It is for sure non-slip! But was a different material than I expected. Much like a rubber mat. It’s good. Does the trick, I guess, and seems quite durable. Appears to stain very easily though.

Was hesitant about spending $100 on a yoga mat but so glad I did. I no longer have to tote and wash tons of towels to hot yoga so the investment saves me so time and effort. After about 6 months and a few dozen classes, this mat has help up great! Also nice and cushy for my knees. I did read the complaints about the mat having some premature wear and tear which happened to mine when I got the sticky part of the packaging caught on the rubber :(. But honestly, kind of expected with such an absorbent surface. Otherwise, the mat has help up great. Would recommend and would buy again when the time comes. ... show more

The Manduka GRP Adapt is the best mat I've used. I'm a yoga teacher and I practice every day, and recently set out to find my dream mat. I was using a Jade travel mat, which is quite thin. (3mm) i think. I knew I needed a thicker mat, but wasn't sure where that sweet spot on thickness was. I tried the Alo Warrior and a Manduka Pro, and none measured up to the GRP Adapt. The Alo Warrior is beautiful, and feels really nice, but the top layer material immediately started flaking off. Unacceptable. The Manduka Pro is thick (6mm) and even though this is one of the most expensive Mandukas, it is a very slippery mat, which totally blows for hot yoga. Even in dry yoga it was a bit slippery. The GRP adapt is just the right thickness, and it is super grippy. Love this mat! ... show more
