I got one of these bottles as my gift for Amazon baby registry. I didn’t think I would like them since with my first we used Dr browns. I was wrong! Not only did my son latch so easy to them but he loves them! My nipple is so big for his tiny mouth that with these bottles he’s able to eat comfortably. He’s 10 days old so we have him on size nipple 0 and it’s amazing. No leaks, easy to clean, and easy to sterilize. We also got him the MAM pacifier and it’s the best.     • Big top opening easy to pour formula!

We used these for our 1st son and went with them again for our 2nd! The opening is large so it helps when pouring formula into it. We had tried Dr browns but I kept spilling the formula because the opening was soo small. These are easy to clean, our son has been less gassy and fussy with these vs Dr browns. I have a picky baby who ONLY likes these MAM bottles! We have tried almost every single brand and I am confident at this point that he and I are experts about bottles. He had a tongue tie (which we had clipped when he was about a month old) and that may have been the reason for his dislike of many other bottles. He outright rejected some (especially bottles with narrow tops) and had difficulty getting a good seal on others without gulping in a lot of air. Here is my detailed review: The good: -The nipples of these bottles have a unique shape. I’m sure that’s why my baby prefers them. The top and bottom area have a slight indentation and the nipples are a boxier flattened shape than other types. They are also a nice medium size...not as narrow as the skinny Dr. Brown’s bottles, but not as wide as those that are advertised as being similar to the shape of a breast. I think that helped my baby latch on to it easier. -They come apart easily for cleaning and can self-sterilize in the microwave. One bottle can sterilize in 3 minutes! -The two sizes are interchangeable. I started off with the smaller 5 oz. size but I bought this set now that he’s drinking more in one sitting. The collars and bottoms from the old bottles are the same as the ones from this set. That means I have twice as many collars, silicon inserts, and bottoms now, which is nice. The bad: -Each bottle has 4 pieces: the bottle, a nipple, a collar, a silicon insert for the bottom, and the bottom itself. I actually don’t mind all the parts because they are easier to clean. However, with all the parts it’s easy to mess up one of the assembly steps (especially if you’re in a hurry because a hungry baby is crying or in the middle of the night when you’re half asleep). If you don’t screw the top or bottom on just right, the bottle will leak everywhere. I have made hundreds of bottles by now and I still mess it up sometimes. I’ve learned to shake them over the sink is that if two pieces are misaligned that I catch my mistake. That’s the only con I can come up with! These are great bottles and I don’t think I can quite convey how relieved I was to find a bottle that my baby would tolerate and could drink from without gulping too bad! I do sort of wish that I had started with this larger size in the beginning, but on the other hand it would have felt silly to mix up 2 ounces in this giant bottle. Both of my kids have loved MAM pacifiers, but now I am a fan of their bottles as well! ... show more

For both of my girls, we’ve used mam bottles to feed breastmilk. Both girls latched away to this bottle and it’s just a great bottle. Less parts than other options to wash and is sturdy and durable.

We got the first size MAM bottles from our baby registry as a gift when I was pregnant and absolutley loved them as soon as we started using them, so much so that we decided we definitely wanted to use the MAM brand bottles throughout the bottle feeding months with our son. The anti-cholic feature is amazing and we've definatly noticed that our baby doesn't suffer with trapped gas or reflux as much as babies we've known who have used different bottles. The bottles have a really convenient self sterilising feature which makes bottle sterilisation super quick and easy too! Our son has a tongue tie that we're waiting to get fixed, and the nipples on the MAM bottles are the perfect shape for him to get a good latch and really enjoy his bottles. We also use the MAM soothers/pacifiers and they're just as amazing as the bottles. We're sticking with the MAM brand for sure and couldn't reccomend these bottles enough. ... show more

We chose these after trying different bottles with our babe. She latched the best with these nipples and had the least amount of burping/gas with these. There are a lot of parts (5 per bottle) for cleaning, but for us, has been worth it. MAM is a great brand that we've now stuck with for her sippy cups.
