This is undoubtedly a beautitul set. Minimalistic design and color, simple and yet so very elegant. This set will work very well in a more formal setting, or for daily use. the "lip" on the saucer and plates provide a second function and that is to keep the food from spilling over the edge. The underside of the plates indicate that they're dishwasher safe, oven safe (?) and microwave safe. Glad to know that....but since I want to keep these dishes for a long time, I'd rather take good care of them and not risk anything that may weaken its quality. Because of the design, the plates, saucers and bowls stack neatly. That's a big plus when putting the dishes away in the cabinet.

Beautiful. Took away one start because the bowls don’t stack securely. They’re so slippery that they’d potentially fall over. And because of the raised edges, the plates don’t fit in my dishwasher properly. Is that a thing for all brands? Not sure.
