This trench coat looked very inviting and elegant and I could not resist urge to have it. I ordered black XL size which should fit me well. It came heavily wrinkled, even they say it might "have some wrinkles after the long transportation." I iron all of my shirts, except of dry fits, and cannot wear something so heavily wrinkled. I knew it was going to be tough, because it was a polyester. My wife advised me to just let it hanging for a while and see. Nothing happened and we decided not to use a wrinkle eraser. Believe or not, then I actually bought a new steam iron because of this coat. The ironing took some of my nerves away and also one star from my evaluation. But if you are more patient, dedicated and experienced in ironing, or you do not mind wrinkles, go ahead and get it, because it is beautiful. However even I bought XL which would normally be for me little loose, this coat is tight on the chest, so consider a bigger size than what you normally wear. Short Version: It's ok. Based on the product page photos, I expected a fairly structured, sturdy trench/windbreaker combo, but this jacket leans more towards the straight windbreaker end of the scale. The fabric is fairly thin, which is good if you're actually wearing it over a suit, but kind of floppy if you're not. The stitching and seaming is also a little off in certain spots. See my closer shot photo - some of the shoulder lines are wonky. Nothing feels like it will fall apart, but nothing feels like quality. The notched collar is not very structured either, so I hope it doesn't start rolling over time. Buttons are all secure with no loose threads, which is good. And I do like the length - the mid thigh cut is a little more fresh than your usual long trench coat. The lining is also fairly light, which is necessary in a jacket that you will most likely layer over other layers. NOTE: Product page calls this jacket 'moisture-proof' which I assume means 'water-proof'...which is not what it is at all. A light mist will bead off, but it you're caught in the rain the water will soak right through in record time. Bottom line, this is an ok jacket that you could toss in the car or gym locker and not stress about. It's just good not great. ... show more

I like this trenchcoat better than I thought I would after receiving it. It is well put together and the belt which sometimes is a problem on these types of coats is an appropriate length and the loops are situated so that the belt does not hang too low if not being used. It seems fairly waterproof and sort of a medium weight. It is not as long as the traditional trenchcoat and comes down just a little above the middle of the thigh. I am tall so it will probably strike most people a little lower. The only complaint is that it is a little shiny, but that is a pretty minimal complaint. ... show more

I like the belted trenchcoat look. This coat is very nice. It fits a bit larger than I eas expecting to be honest. I should have actually ordered a size smaller, nothing they can do about that. I am sure I will find an occasion or two to wear this because it's too nice to not wear.

This is a decent coat. It's very stylish. I wear a XXL and it fits as expected (and I'm definitely not slim), but it's not too large or bulky. I went with the green one which looks much better in person than in the photos. It's very lightweight material like a traditional trench coat would be though.     • Just barely fit perfectly

With a t shirt on the size was almost perfect. It closed and wasnt tight, but fitted. You can generally size up on these. It looks good open or closed so even if a little snug closed you can pull it off while open.

This jacket is very versatile and has a classic, timeless look. It can be worn over sweaters, sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts, etc for rain and wind protection without adding a ton of bulk. It fits and looks great!
