    • WAY better than 3.0 mah
Awesome these batteries last 2x as long as my 3.0 mah batteries. In a 1/2 drive makita impact breaking 3/4 inch nuts (1 1/8 socket) loose and then retighting at about 500 to 600 ft lbs of toque one battery will last me about 35 to 45 mins if Im really hard on them and thats almost constantly running it.So by the time one dies the other is charged. (3.0 mah only last max 20 mins). In the 1/4 makita drill driver I actually havent had either the 3 mah or 5 mah go dead within 2 hrs. LOVE the lights on the battery to check the charge left. The charger is okay no complaints it does what it says it does I just dont like the cheap feeling of it (like if i drop it or bump it on something it will break) but if you run 2 or more tools its worth the extra $. Also i like that i can charge my 3.0 with the 5.0s and only carry one charger. ... show more

Awesome product. OEM product not a knock off. Rapid charger and two 5 amp hour batteries. You can't beat the price. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Best decision I've made.

Works as it should, however it could use some upgrades. Power cord is in the back of the unit as expected. However the batteries also slide in back to front which makes it annoying if you want to put it at the end of your toolbox or counter and not have to pul it away from the wall every time you need to charge. Also spots to wall mount would be great ... show more

Another great makita product. I highly recommend it. It will charge 1 battery or 2 batteries both at the same time. It’s quite and also has a fans to cool the batteries while on charger. Delivery was fast too

While these batteries are expensive, so far, they've been worth it. I bought this charger package and then purchased a couple of extra batteries to keep all my Makita cordless tools running. I can have two batteries on two different tools and always have two hot ones on the charger. The fan on the charger is a bit noisy but certainly not a big deal for me. ... show more

This is the second Makita dual charger that I ordered from Amazon. I was thinking that I used the “order it again” app, but there is a big difference in size between them. The first one (top one in photo) was smaller with easier to read lights.
