The Makita 7-1/4 in. 24T ultra-coated framing blade is ideal for a full range of wood cutting applications. The ultra-coated blade resists Pitch build-up, and the high-grade fine-grain tungsten carbide tips are engineered for improved durability and longer blade life. Makita exclusive "m"-shaped blade tooth has two cutting points, so it delivers the cutting speed of a 24-Tooth blade, but with the finish of a 48-tooth blade. From the Manufacturer UTRA COATED TO SLIDE THROUGH TREATED LUMBER - Exclusive tooth configuration cuts faster, cleaner and lasts longer than traditional blades. I know it’s not the seller or Amazon’s fault, but since about The first week in December, about half the items I have received, the packaging is damaged sometimes to the point the items are damaged or just plane missing. Today is no different. Again the box in the box were both damaged. That being said, I love these blades. They cut right through just about anything including unseen nails and screws without hesitation. These blades for me last longer than any other blade I have ever used. I’ve gone through hundreds of these blades, and love them. I’ve tried many others and always come back to these. They are decently priced and perform better than any other ones I’ve tried. They don’t warp and wobble from heat while cutting stair stringers or rafters like the Makita Max ones or any of the Diablos. They can also take a nail or two and keep going.
