Amazon flagged this item for its high return rate. I took time to read some of the reviews and decided to make the purchase. I am very happy with this binder machine. Out did not have instructions so I had to look up a you tube video. Once I figured out out, it was very easy to use and works perfectly for my needs. I learned that only about 8 pages at a time can be cut, else the machine will jam. I had 70-page books to create, so it was slow going. The features were not explained so I had to learn how to along the paper for good, even hole punches. Made several hole punch errors before i got the hang of it. So practice on blank paper several times before working your project. Just take your time and the machine does a terrific job. I recommend this product for your smaller binder book projects.

I’m impressed. Read the instructions. Buy bigger binds than what comes with it. As a homeschooling family with four kids, I print most of their work vs buying the books. I WISH I’d gone ahead and bought this years ago. I’ve successfully bound six books in the last week. There’s still some tweaking I need to do, but it’s very easy to adjust and use. It feels sturdy. I had to punch no more than about 10 pages at a time, more than that and it stuck. I like that its design serves both purposes - punches holes and binds, without the need for an additional machine. I really don’t even need my traditional 3-ring binders anymore because this makes thin, easy to store books. I tested lots of folded pages! Since I couldn’t get the setting right, where there wouldn’t be an extra notch cut at one end, I punched till I found a whole space at the ends, then marked the line I needed the paper to be on with a thin strip of blue painters tape. That way the knob can’t go past it, and I know where to place my papers/plastic cover if the knob moves unexpectedly. The last note I’ll add, for anyone printing seat work, pay attention to how the pages print. It was super helpful printing on the short edge so the binding clamp was always positioned at the top of the page. Overall: If I’d known what I was missing I’d have bought this years ago. Just buy it! This is a nice machine to add to the collection of tools that make homeschooling easier.

I needed a binding machine for presentations. This works well.l and is easy to operate. The spiral bindings are a little too long for standard paper but easily trimmed to fit.

The binding machine punches paper correctly, but does not have a setting to punch standard 8 3/4 X 11 1/4 binder covers. There is no way to set the cover to punch the cover to allow for the 1/8” at the top and the bottom. Even shifting the cover to the end, there is a partial extra hole at the top or the bottom. Not very professional. This could have been easily accommodated, but an important detail left out. Had I known, I would not have purchased it. I would have selected another brand.

This is a handy little machine. I couldn't find the written instructions but did find some you tube videos which walked me through setting it up and using it for the first time. It's not too heavy and was able to handle multiple pages at the time. I didn't use the max number of 12 just because I'm not strong enough to push down on the handle that hard. I did have to stabilize it with my other hand to keep the left side from lifting off the table surface as I pushed down on the handle but it wasn't a problem.
