Bought this little kit for my 6, 9, and 11 yr olds for car trips, airplanes, restaurants, etc! It’s so cute and fun - my 6 yr old girl loves that she can make bracelets (with flowers!) and my older boys (who enjoy legos and plus-plus) loved perusing the instruction booklet which tells you how to make the little animals. There’s only one crochet-type hook to help stretch the rubber bands over the knobby pieces, but my kids’ little fingers worked just fine and they didnt need the hook. Only one elastic piece has broken so far. The pieces stay together really well so you can keep/wear your creations for as long as you want (or until the other siblings need your pieces to make something new)! I love that you can just keep reusing the pieces again and again! ... show more

Gave this to my 6 year old granddaughter and it’s one of her favorite presents. It requires only a minute of adult explanation and the child is making bracelets right away. The pieces are easy to assemble and then later reuse for new creations. A great value for hours of fun.

As expected, this set includes many pieces, and they are small! Their size does make it a little hard to keep track of if there is anything else happening simultaneously in the same space. They work ok for creating link together things like bracelets and figurines, however they take a fair amount of patience.
