I like the feel of the case and that the iPad can be rotated. However, the angles at which you can stand the iPad in the case are very limited. You must have iPad in lap off on low desktop to use it with any close up view of you for others to see.

This was my second attempt at a iPad cover. I didn’t send back immediately like the 1st but still ended up with a third. You’d think it would stay in the slots as they are deep. It does as long as you don’t touch it. If you are holding it it won’t stay. It also wouldn’t do sleep cycle. I couldn’t get that to work. ... show more

This is the second Fintie Rotating case I’ve owned. I have one on an iPad 6th generation, & it has held up fine. After going through 3 others for this 8th generation iPad, I decided to go back to this case. As a caveat, it is a bulky case. And as a result, it is very protective. A second caveat, the wake sleep works fine, but you must use the elastic strap to keep the case close. Due to the thick inner lining, the magnet will not it keep it closed. The grooves to stand up the iPad are deep and keep it from slipping. To be honest, having to use the strap bothered me for a long time, but given the protective nature of this case, the swivel ability, and the sturdiness of keeping the pad upright, I’m ok with the minor nuisance of the elastic strap. If you are looking for a minimalistic case, this one is not for you. But if you like keeping your iPad standing, this is a great case. ... show more
