  • But the Butt Stock!
The media could not be loaded. Well. Let me start by I haven’t played a 1st person shooter since Halo… and this was a steep learning curve. Almost gave up. Old guy learned a new trick and thought I’d share. So, the butt stock is adjustable and all 3D printed. They did a nice job printing these and IDK if a mold would have stopped this design flaw but there’s this locking piece thats loose. Other reviews have talked about it. Well, you gotta keep that pushed in to keep it locked. They provide no way to do that. When I followed the i structions and put the Quest headset on after a min or so the thing fell off my neck. When I got out to see why, the whole top of the stock was attached to the strap and the bottom was on the floor. So, i found some twist ties to keep that loose locking thingy pushed in and boom! tat ta tat tat… take that! I’m shooting all kinds if stuff… Now, I’m playing contractors and had my first kills. Took me a min to figure out how to set up a gun stock in the settings, but you set how your sites line up, tilt angles, etc. And it feels real… except for all thise damn buttons u gotta press for safety, eject clips and stuff. I miss shoot offscreeen to reload. :). thats the hardest to get used to. reloading. grabbing clips, moving with a control stick in VR…its all kind of unatural. But when u get used to it a bit… this feels way better than holding contorllers like a fake rifle… thats bang bang coos and robbers… this is …well a fricken gun…. and the controllers vibrate so u don’t need more haptics. Thats a waste. Fully custmizable grip positions. tighten kinda loose. then as u get them closer to where u want it. tighten more. I fould hanging it upside downd made it easier to align. Was it worth it? IDK… I want a game thats more than capture the flag. I need a Halo type adventure to truly enjoy this… easier controls… easier to see sites…. But compaired to the $50 ones… yeah. it wins. pulling the contolls off and using it regular. and u can find the handles of the stock easy if u customized their spot. you go that location kind of naturally. Straps come out the handles… so yeah. it’s worth it. ... show more

  • You're going to want to train yourself.
It works as intended, for the most part. My only complaint is that the materials feel flimsy. For the thing about training: You are going to really want to put time and effort into getting the gunstock configuration right. Not only that, you are going to want to train and gain muscle memory if you want a chance at being swift with this - attaching the controllers again after removing them from the gunstock whilst playing a game. To whoever sees this, I am serious. You will have to train yourself to get used to this and use it effectively. For over $50, I would personally believe that 15% - 20% of that price is going to some of the fancy things that come with the gunstock such as a business card (I think it was) and a micro fiber cloth (generous, but not necessary). ... show more

  • Nice adjustability… but
Giving this vr stock a 3 star because it’s very light weight, the magnets are nice and strong and don’t come apart while you’re in the middle of intense gameplay. The stock is very adjustable to meet whatever game/configuration you need. BUT, The rear sling mounting solution is an afterthought, it’s uncomfortable and where it’s located I found the clasp getting caught between my shoulder and the stock which was uncomfortable, and worse, the piece the clasp hooks too completely broke after less than 20 hours of gameplay. I play seated too so most of the time the stock is supported by my lap and not just hanging to put pressure on the clasp I’m not sure what caused it to break but it’s very disappointing. If the sling mount was better placed and constructed this would be five stars easily from me. ... show more

  • CHEAPEST MATERALS EVER
The materials this thing is made our of is fragile 3d prints. Not the carbon fiber tube the actual parts that connect the carbon fiber tube the vertical adjuster broke on mine after only months of use. The magnets broke off the handles and I had to super glue it and tape It shut. Worst vr gun stock you can buy. I recommend any other vr gun stock than this magni stock crap 💩. 65 dollars for this peice of garbage is nuts. Maybe if the whole thing was made out of something stronger than fragile 3d prints than it would have a chance at being worth 50 bucks. do not buy this piece of crap. ... show more

  • 3d printed junk
cheap 3d printed crap, worked good till the bottom started delaminating couldn't mount the controller with out CONSTATNT modification.

  • Game changer
It’s completely adjustable, tightens well, 3D printed parts are solid and strong. The best feature is the strong magnetic cups that press firmly onto the bottom of both controllers which hold them nice and tight but you can still pull it back out when you are done. Being able to come back to the same position every time is great for consistency and accuracy once you dial it in and fine tune each controller. They detach by rocking the controller left or right, then reload, or go hands free (let stock hang from strap) and pull pins on grenades. Didn’t take long to get fast at removing and snapping back on the controllers by feel. Its a bit expensive but if you play shooter vr games this will definitely improve your game play and accuracy if you are tired of bad aim and misses. I use this with a Quest 2 and it’s great for Contractors, Onward or Palov. Just get it ... show more

  • Seriously enhances my VR gameplay
I bought this stock for Onward on my Quest 2. I'm left handed and have shaky hands, I couldn't find a left handed gun stock on amazon but this one works for left AND right handed people. The stock is just about 100% adjustable. Before I couldn't hit anything long range without laying down or using the bipod. Now I'm able to map snipe with a machine gun while standing. Reloading takes a bit to get used to, the magnets are really strong. What I've found to work best is twisting the controller off to the side then prying it off. ... show more
