It is NOT a Universal Seam Guide. I have a Bernina 180. In order for the guide to be secure, it needed to be placed right next to the needle. But when that is done, the lever on the unit doesn't allow the foot of the machine to come down and it covers the needle stitch hole. I returned the items.
