I was contemplating a cheaper brand but decided to go with SightPro based on reviews and importance of my data priva (I work in a shared office space aka WeWork). This Privacy screen is better than I expected. Complete darkness from angles beyond 30% and very clear and bright from direct view. I forget I even have it on. Perfect fit for my 15.6” HP Probook. Overall, I like it very much. It cuts glare on its matte side. And it provides more privacy on the glossy side. There is a single magnetic strip on one side. I assume that is to save from being overly thick. As noted on the packaging, the laptop mostly closes. It closes enough to sleep and turn off the monitor. The bottom tends to flare out a touch. It does come with double-sided tape, but I prefer to not use anything sticky on my monitor. I have used similar privacy screens before. And it will adapt to being stuck on the screen and lift less over time. I also wipe the screen as clean as possible (both screen and monitor) and the put them on. And wipe it smooth to get the film to stick better. I think it’s just the energy between the monitor and screen that slightly magnetizes or static clings. I don’t use the tape. I take my privacy screen off to share the monitor to a group. I use it to reduce glare in a bright space. And I use it for privacy in public spaces. So, I like that it’s removable. And I like the plastic file holder that fits the screen when not in use! Nice detail! I have always found it tricky to store it when not using. Feedback: It might be worthwhile to add a slightly weighted corner structure to the bottoms of the protector to help keep the screen flat against the monitor. Users would like prefer the freedom to remove and replace as needed. And double-sided tape attracts dirt, and makes the screen icky. Also: New monitor settings allow us to see a warmer tone color palette in the evenings, but this one is just neutral. Perhaps a choice of warm, neutral or cool tone screens would be nice. As long as they all do the anti-glare, and privacy jobs! I would recommend this. ... show more

The product is great - creates privacy to the sides effectively, and handles glare well. After about 6 months, the screen stopped adhering to my laptop well. I provided an incorrect size for my laptop privacy screen unfortunately. However, SightPro made it easy to exchange, and without asking for me to go through hassles of returning the wrong size. Not only was it easy to get a correctly sized item, but they ADDED in items like anti glare wipes and camera covers. They followed up by email to inform me of when they were shipping the replacement as well. I went back and forth on keeping this but ended up deciding to keep it. Pro is that it's privacy screen effect works well. I would say glares are worse and even if I have the brightness up all the way it's hard to see my computer screen. I also have to have blue light glasses on to look at my screen or else my eyes hurt with this on. It was also extremely easy to install, it magnetizes to the top of your screen, however this creates the biggest problem in my opinion in that the bottom doesn't attach well and I have to constantly press it back down to my screen. First of all, this screen protector (removable + magnetic) is fantastic and extremely high quality, the high ratings this product already has are a testimate to that. I received the screen protector from Amazon and soon realized I ordered the wrong size. Included in the original package was a note to email customer service if you have any issues or aren't satisfied. So I emailed as directed and received a reply hours later from customer service, the agent, Kate, identified the screen protector size and type I needed and sent the correct item via express mail.
