These really work with thicker cabinets!
Size: 20
My almost 2 year old recently learned how to open regular cabinet child proof locks. Cue panic and a frantic search for something we could use instead (since we're fast running out of storage room above his reach). We're also limited in lock types due to not being able to use adhesive on some cabinets (we used the screws with these), so our options weren't looking too great. We had a few similar magnetic locks at home, but out of 3 different types only 1 (sometimes) worked on our thick wooden cabinet doors. So I was very skeptical when I saw these labeled as "up to 2 inches". I'm pleased to report that they do in fact work as advertised! They weren't hard to install, and they are now keeping our cabinets secure. One thing to note - and this is from my husband who did the actual installation - is that you have to be very precise and level when installing these, or else they may not work as well. But if you take the time to install them carefully, they work great, and will hopefully last a long time.
